Description

Description

The replacement water filter FCCBKDF2 is made from coconut shell activated carbon and contains KDF and resin. It is suitable for filtering cold drinking water and should not be used in water that is contaminated or of unknown origin.

Filtration Stages

  •  The KDF material removes hydrogen sulfide, pesticides, iron, and reduces the content of heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury). Additionally, KDF has bacteriostatic properties and prevents the growth of bacteria.
  • The resin is responsible for water softening through the ion exchange method (a chemical process of exchanging magnesium and calcium ions for sodium ions, thereby eliminating water hardness).
  • The coconut shell activated carbon improves the smell and taste of the water after removing chlorine, pesticides, aromatic hydrocarbons, benzene, phenol, and other chemical compounds.
