The ACC-4 filter series uses a blend of activated carbon granules to reduce the taste and odor of chlorine and is ideal for use as a reverse osmosis pre-filter or post-filter.

Removes chlorine, organic and chemical substances, and pesticides for up to 8,000 liters of water.

Features:

  • Compact activated carbon (Carbon Block), which achieves complete water filtration
  • Made from bituminous activated carbon, NSF certified (certified raw material)
  • Microparticle filtration (dirt, rust, sand, etc.)
  • Removes up to 99% of chlorine in water
  • Removal of organic pollutants
  • Elimination of phenol and benzene
  • Contains coconut shell carbon
  • Provides excellent filtration with low pressure drop
  • Removes up to 85% of pesticides

    I bought this filter last September (2023) and from the first moment I noticed very small black marks in the water that were coming from the filter. After 8 months, the water started smelling like chlorine so I had to change it. As you can see, it released something like rust from one end to the other only in this area (it's not all over the filter, I must say it retained the dirt, it was only there where it appears in the photo) for me personally very poor quality of the filter and I went back to matrikx.
