Replacement activated carbon filter Pentek GAC-10 effectively reduces unwanted tastes and odors, including the taste and odor of chlorine from drinking water.

It is designed to allow maximum contact between the water and the carbon, ensuring optimal adsorption.

The filter's construction allows water to enter from one end and pass through the entire length of the carbon layer before exiting from the other end, while an internal gasket minimizes the effect of channeling.

Before the water exits the filter, a post-filter helps reduce carbon particles and other suspended particles from the filtered water. The post-filter is permanently attached to an innovative support base, ensuring it is securely fastened and eliminating any potential bypass.
