The replacement pleated sediment filter Pentek R30 is made of durable, non-woven and reusable (washable) polyester fabric that is suitable for a wide range of filtration uses.
It is the primary and usually first stage filter used in every installation as it removes solid particles from the water, such as sand and rust, while also serving as a pre-filter for the filtration of smaller particles.
It does not impart taste, odor, or color to the filtered water when used within the recommended temperature limit. It has a nominal filtration of 30 microns and is particularly recommended for medium sediment.
