The activated carbon replacement filter CF1 is made from coconut shell activated carbon and designed to remove sediments while simultaneously improving the taste and odor of the water.

Features:

  • Removal of sediments (sand, mud, rust, and suspended solids)
  • Removal of chlorine up to 100%, organic pollutants, pesticides, and pathogenic chemicals, according to NSF/ANSI Standard 42
  • Improvement of water taste and odor to high levels, according to NSF/ANSI Standard 42
  • Removal of cysts (Cryptosporidium, Giardia, Entamoeba, and Toxoplasma) with permeability up to 0.5 micron, according to NSF/ANSI Standard 53
  • Reduction of lead concentration (lead is a highly toxic metal that enters drinking water mainly from plumbing), according to NSF/ANSI Standard 53
  • Reduction of MTBE
  • Reduction of asbestos
