Description

Have you ever been a victim or a perpetrator of sinful leadership? Have you been yelled at or snubbed? Have your expectations been betrayed, have you been ignored, or have you been treated as a disposable component?

Have you experienced not having your efforts recognized, being asked for more than you are given, or not being explained what is expected of you? Have you been complained about, criticized, or blamed for things that are not your responsibility?

If you belong to the human species, you have certainly encountered some of these behaviors from your boss, your mom and dad, your older brother, your teachers, your friends, your partner, your mother-in-law, and so on.

If you belong to the human species, you have certainly exhibited some of these behaviors toward your children, your younger siblings, your friends, your students, your partner, your colleagues, or your subordinates.

With understanding, humor, and frank words, the author "denounces" sinful, misguided versions of leadership and mistakes we all make while trying to lead even ourselves.

Addresing both the victim and the perpetrator that we all have inside us, she invites us on a reading journey of redemption, self-awareness, and self-improvement.

This book aspires to be something like "mom's homemade stuffed vegetables" rather than a printed gourmet treat for a few. It aims to tell its story and reach the ordinary person, who in order to survive in our time must do more than just "do their job"; the "fresh" supervisor who dives into the deep end without ever wondering what kind of boss they want to become; as well as the established CEO who delivers theoretical lessons on enlightened leadership but neglects the need to align words and actions. This book aims to address every person who, as a parent, employee, supervisor, teacher, friend, or partner, will be called upon to demonstrate leadership behaviors, simply to live better.

I did not write this book as a leader. I wrote it as a follower. After all, followers, or as the international term goes, "followers," are in fashion. So I am addressing you, aspiring or established leader. Do me a favor. Stop moving and look behind you. Do you see anyone there? How many truly follow you and why? If you can give an honest answer to this question and if you don’t like that answer, meaning you realize that you would like, should, or deserve to have more followers, keep reading. If not, then you probably feel that this book does not concern you.
