I usually buy an activated carbon filter, an under-sink system for a 10'' filter. Always a specific brand with 0.5 micro.
This is the first time I ordered a ceramic filter and I noticed clear differences compared to the already installed filter.
Nice clean taste and it even gives a feeling of drinking from a glass/ceramic jug. I agree with the colleague who made explicit reference to the taste, it doesn't have a plastic taste.
The price is extremely economical, 13-14€, and as a plus, I mention that the filter is for annual use. It can withstand up to 55 degrees Celsius hot water and of course, it is cleanable.
Συνήθως αγοράζω φίλτρο ενεργού άνθρακα, σύστημα κάτω πάγκου για 10'' φίλτρο. Συγκεκριμένη πάντα μάρκα με 0.5 micro.
Είναι η πρώτη φορά που παράγγειλα κεραμικό φίλτρο και διαπίστωσα εμφανή διάφορα συγκριτικά με το ήδη εγκατεστημένο φίλτρο.
Ωραία καθαρή γεύση και μάλιστα βγάζει ένα αίσθημα πως πίνεις μέσα από γυάλινη/κεραμική κανάτα. θα. συμφωνήσω με τον συνάδελφο που έκανε ρητή αναφορά σε ότι αφορά τη γεύση, δεν βγάζει τη γεύση του πλαστικού.
Η τιμή του άκρως οικονομική 13-14€ και στα συν αναφέρω πώς το φίλτρο είναι για ετήσια χρήση. Αντέχει έως 55 βαθμούς κελσίου ζεστό νερό και φυσικά είναι καθαριζόμενο.

I do not understand how it is possible for a product to be legally available on the market that does not have a 'made in...' indication and does not include a leaflet/brochure of specifications/instructions (even the countertop device from Eiger does not include any relevant installation leaflet).
As for the filtering capability: I bought three filters from the same company a) the ceramic 0.3μm, b) the Activated Carbon from Coconut Shell 0.5μm, and c) the Ultrafiltration - U.F Membrane 0.01 micron.
I was surprised that when I replaced them, I could not find any trace of salts, particles, etc. on them. We're talking about the already 'hard' water in Lake Evia, especially after the 2021 wildfires. While in the metal filter inside the faucet spout I find some strange 'sand grains' of red and black color, the filters are spotless!
As for the ceramic one, I broke it to see if it had retained anything inside the material. Absolutely nothing, pure white!
I showed it to the company manager (at their headquarters in Ag. Ioannis Rentis) and told him where and how I use it.
The answer:
"Well, you should have told me. For your case, you need the double countertop filter." (...)
Δεν καταλαβαίνω πως γίνεται να κυκλοφορεί νόμιμα στην αγορά προϊόν που δεν έχει ένδειξη "made in..." και δεν διαθέτει έντυπο/φυλλάδιο χαρακτηριστικών /οδηγιών (ακόμη και η συσκευή άνω πάγκου της Eiger δεν περιέχει κανένα σχετικό φυλλάδιο εγκατάστασης).
Για την δε ικανότητα φιλτραρίσματος : αγόρασα τρία φίλτρα από την ίδια εταιρεία α) το κεραμικό 0,3μm, β) το Ενεργού Άνθρακα από Κέλυφος Καρύδας 0,5μm και γ) το Υπερδιήθησης - Μεμβράνη U.F 0,01 micron.
Μου έκανε αντύπωση ότι όταν τα αντικαθιστούσα δεν εύρισκα πάνω σε αυτά κανένα ίχνος αλάτων, σωματιδίων κτλ. Μιλάμε για το ούτως ή άλλως "σκληρό" νερό στη Λίμνη Ευβοίας , και μάλιστα μετά τις πυρκαγιές του 2021. Ενώ στο μεταλλικό φίλτρο μέσα στο ρουξούνι της βρύσης βρίσκω κατι περιέργους "κόκκους άμμου" κόκκινου και μαύρου χρώματος, τα φίλτρα είναι πεντακάθαρα !
Το δε κεραμικό το έσπασα για να δω μήπως κράτησε κάτι , εντός του υλικού. Απολύτως τίποτα , πάλευκο !
Το έδειξα στον υπεύθυνο της εταιρείας (στην έδρα τους στον Αγ. Ιωάννη Ρέντη) και του είπα που και πως το χρησιμοποιώ.
Η απάντηση:
"Ε, έπρεπε να μου το είχες πει. Για την περίπτωση σου χρειάζεται το διπλό φίλτρο πάγκου " (...)
So, I’ve had it for 11 months, it was installed on 15.5.25, it’s been working until today, I’ve opened it for cleaning 2 or 3 times, and next month when it completes a year I’ll replace it, as well as the activated carbon, because I use it as a second stage.
I use the ceramic as the first stage mainly because it’s washable and I want the carbon to filter only water and not sediments and such, which are held back by the ceramic at the start.
As a filter, it’s quite good, it didn’t break, it didn’t turn to mud as I’ve read elsewhere—obviously those things happened to others. It’s worth noting that the ceramic material, if it has a crack or general material flaw, can easily turn to dust... read up on how ceramic vessels are made in case someone doesn’t know.
The water comes out clean, I’ve seen it catch bulky particles (some black and brown stuff)—I don’t know what they were, but it caught them, and I never saw anything in the carbon filter, so the first stage worked, which means the carbon did its job even better. PLUS, the carbon has lasted longer compared to before, when I used polypropylene (those cotton-like ones) as the first stage.
Anyway, it does its job, and for me, since I have issues with the house pipes and generally we all have issues with the water—even though many people think everything is fine, especially for us residents of Attica—it’s an excellent filter. It would be good to use it not just alone in a single filter, but always as part of 2 or 3 stages. Economical and durable, it does its job, I will definitely buy it again now that I’m changing filters.
(Regarding odors, I have no opinion since I use it as a second stage and it affects the job of the ceramic and the carbon.)

σαν φίλτρο είναι αρκετά κάλο δεν έσπασε δεν έγινε λάσπη που διαβασά προφανώς και συνεβισαν αυτα και αξίζει να θυμίσουμε πως το κεραμικό υλικό αν έχει κάπου ράγισμα ι ατέλειά γενικα αστοχεια ηληκου είναι εύκολο να γίνει χώμα... διαβάστε πως κατασκεβαζοντε τα κεραμικά σκεβει σε περίπτωσή που κάποιος δεν ξέρει.
Το νερό βγένι καθαρό έχω δει να κραταη ογκώδη σώματα (κάτι μαβρα και καφέ) δεν ξερό τη ήταν παντός τα έπιασε και σαφώς δεν είδα ποτέ τίποτα στο φίλτρο άνθρακα οπότε το πρώτο στάδιο έγινε που σημαίνει πως ο άνθρακας έκανε μετά ακόμα καλλίτερα την δουλεία του ΣΥΝ ότι έχει διατηρηθεί παραπάνω ο ανθροκας σε σύγκριση με πριν που είχα για πρώτο στάδιο πολιπροπενιο αυτά σαν βαμβακι που είναι
οπός και να έχει κανί τι δουλιατου και για έμενα που έχω θέμα με τις σωλήνωσις του σπιτιού και γενικά που έχουμε όλη θέμα με το νερό και ας νομίζουν πόλι πως όλα είναι καλά ειδικά για εμάς τους κάτοικους αττικής... είναι ένα εξαίρετο φίλτρο κάλο θα ήταν να μέιν μπει μεμονωμένα σε μονό φίλτρο αλά να είναι πάντα 2 η 3 σταδία. οικονομικό και ανθεκτικό κάνη τι δουλιατο θα το ξανά αγοράσω σίγουρα τώρα που θαλλάξω φίλτρα

First try, very nice water taste and odorless. The activated carbon, like the other one, initially gives a taste, as others have written, if you don't let the water run, it tastes bad.
On the downside. Be very, very careful even when rushing with the membrane. My first one broke in half with almost no pressure. I bought it again and confirm that although it's a 10-inch and its base is from the same company, this filter is bigger and doesn't fit in height. I had to cut the rubber rings with a utility knife and align them with the plastic of the filter. This way it worked without leaks.
I will update again.
Πρώτη δοκιμή πολύ ωραία γεύση νερού και άοσμο. Του ενεργού άνθρακα όπως και το άλλο που έρχεται αρχικά η γεύση, όπως γράφουν και άλλοι, εάν δεν το αφήσεις το νερό να τρέξει είναι άσχημη.
Στα μείον. Πολλή πολλή προσοχή ακόμα κι όταν βιάζεται τη μεμβρανη. Το πρώτο μου έσπασε στη μέση χωρίς σχεδόν πίεση. Το ξαναπηρα και επιβεβαιώνω πως αν και 10αρι και η βάση του είναι της ίδιας εταιρείας, το φίλτρο αυτό είναι μεγαλύτερο και δε χωράει στο ύψος. Αναγκάστηκα νακ κόψω με φαλτσέτα τα λαστιχάκια και να τα φέρω πρόσωπο με το πλαστικό του φίλτρου. Με αυτόν τον τρόπο δούλεψε χωρίς διαρροές.
Θα επανέλθω εκ νέου.
I installed it on a 10-inch countertop device that is supposed to be compatible and I tighten it with the plastic wrench as much as it will go, but the device does not reach all the way down when tightening the thread like with the other filters, resulting in all the water coming out from the side and not a drop from the tap. I have experience with water filters as I have been using them for over 15 years and have tried many different brands, but this is the first time this has happened—even if there is a leak, not a drop comes out of the tap.
The strange thing is that I put it next to another 10-inch filter to compare them (photo) and I noticed that it is 2-3 millimeters taller, which is why it does not seal tightly. What's even stranger is that it is a filter from the same company as the device I have (ELGER), while compatible filters from other brands, e.g., Matrick, are fully compatible without any problems!
To τοποθετησα στη συσκευη 10 ιντσων ανω παγκου που υποτιθεται οτι ειναι συμβατο και το σφιγγω με το πλαστικο κλειδι οοο δεν παει αλλα η συσκευη δεν φτανει τερμα κατω στο σφιξιμο του σπειρωματος οπως με τα αλλα φιλτρα με αποτελεσμα ολο το νερο να βγαινει απο πλαγια και ουτε σταγονα απο το βρυσακι. Εχω εμπειρια σε φιλτρα νερου καθως χρησιμοποιω πανω απο 15 χρονια και εχω δοκιμασει παρα πολλων εταιριων αλλα αυτο πρωτη φορα γινεται εστω κι αν εχει διαρροη να μη βγαινει σταγονα απο το βρυσακι.
Το παραξενο ειναι οτι το εβαλα διπλα σε αλλο φιλτρο 10 ιντσων να τα συγκρινω (φωτο) και παρατηρω οτι ειναι 2-3 χιλιοστα ψηλοτερο γι αυτο δεν κλεινει ερμητικα. Το ακομα πιο παραξενο ειναι οτι ειναι φιλτρο της ιδιας εταιριας με τη συσκευη που εχω (ELGER) ενω συμβατα απο αλλες μαρκες πχ Μatrick ειναι πληρως συμβατο χωρις προβληματα!

I installed it on a 10-inch countertop device that is supposed to be compatible and I tighten it with the plastic wrench as much as it will go, but the device does not reach all the way down when tightening the thread like with the other filters, resulting in all the water coming out from the side and not a drop from the tap. I have experience with water filters as I have been using them for over 15 years and have tried many different brands, but this is the first time this has happened—even if there is a leak, not a drop comes out of the tap.
The strange thing is that I put it next to another 10-inch filter to compare them (photo) and I noticed that it is 2-3 millimeters taller, which is why it does not seal tightly. What's even stranger is that it is a filter from the same company as the device I have (ELGER), while compatible filters from other brands, e.g., Matrick, are fully compatible without any problems!

Το ακομα πιο παραξενο ειναι οτι ειναι φιλτρο της ιδιας εταιριας με τη συσκευη που εχω (ELGER) ενω συμβατα απο αλλες μαρκες πχ Μatrick ειναι πληρως συμβατο χωρις προβληματα!

This is the first time I ordered a ceramic filter and I noticed clear differences compared to the already installed filter.
Nice clean taste and it even gives a feeling of drinking from a glass/ceramic jug. I agree with the colleague who made explicit reference to the taste, it doesn't have a plastic taste.
The price is extremely economical, 13-14€, and as a plus, I mention that the filter is for annual use. It can withstand up to 55 degrees Celsius hot water and of course, it is cleanable.
Συνήθως αγοράζω φίλτρο ενεργού άνθρακα, σύστημα κάτω πάγκου για 10'' φίλτρο. Συγκεκριμένη πάντα μάρκα με 0.5 micro.
Είναι η πρώτη φορά που παράγγειλα κεραμικό φίλτρο και διαπίστωσα εμφανή διάφορα συγκριτικά με το ήδη εγκατεστημένο φίλτρο.
Ωραία καθαρή γεύση και μάλιστα βγάζει ένα αίσθημα πως πίνεις μέσα από γυάλινη/κεραμική κανάτα. θα. συμφωνήσω με τον συνάδελφο που έκανε ρητή αναφορά σε ότι αφορά τη γεύση, δεν βγάζει τη γεύση του πλαστικού.
Η τιμή του άκρως οικονομική 13-14€ και στα συν αναφέρω πώς το φίλτρο είναι για ετήσια χρήση. Αντέχει έως 55 βαθμούς κελσίου ζεστό νερό και φυσικά είναι καθαριζόμενο.

I do not understand how it is possible for a product to be legally available on the market that does not have a 'made in...' indication and does not include a leaflet/brochure of specifications/instructions (even the countertop device from Eiger does not include any relevant installation leaflet).
As for the filtering capability: I bought three filters from the same company a) the ceramic 0.3μm, b) the Activated Carbon from Coconut Shell 0.5μm, and c) the Ultrafiltration - U.F Membrane 0.01 micron.
I was surprised that when I replaced them, I could not find any trace of salts, particles, etc. on them. We're talking about the already 'hard' water in Lake Evia, especially after the 2021 wildfires. While in the metal filter inside the faucet spout I find some strange 'sand grains' of red and black color, the filters are spotless!
As for the ceramic one, I broke it to see if it had retained anything inside the material. Absolutely nothing, pure white!
I showed it to the company manager (at their headquarters in Ag. Ioannis Rentis) and told him where and how I use it.
The answer:
"Well, you should have told me. For your case, you need the double countertop filter." (...)
Δεν καταλαβαίνω πως γίνεται να κυκλοφορεί νόμιμα στην αγορά προϊόν που δεν έχει ένδειξη "made in..." και δεν διαθέτει έντυπο/φυλλάδιο χαρακτηριστικών /οδηγιών (ακόμη και η συσκευή άνω πάγκου της Eiger δεν περιέχει κανένα σχετικό φυλλάδιο εγκατάστασης).
Για την δε ικανότητα φιλτραρίσματος : αγόρασα τρία φίλτρα από την ίδια εταιρεία α) το κεραμικό 0,3μm, β) το Ενεργού Άνθρακα από Κέλυφος Καρύδας 0,5μm και γ) το Υπερδιήθησης - Μεμβράνη U.F 0,01 micron.
Μου έκανε αντύπωση ότι όταν τα αντικαθιστούσα δεν εύρισκα πάνω σε αυτά κανένα ίχνος αλάτων, σωματιδίων κτλ. Μιλάμε για το ούτως ή άλλως "σκληρό" νερό στη Λίμνη Ευβοίας , και μάλιστα μετά τις πυρκαγιές του 2021. Ενώ στο μεταλλικό φίλτρο μέσα στο ρουξούνι της βρύσης βρίσκω κατι περιέργους "κόκκους άμμου" κόκκινου και μαύρου χρώματος, τα φίλτρα είναι πεντακάθαρα !
Το δε κεραμικό το έσπασα για να δω μήπως κράτησε κάτι , εντός του υλικού. Απολύτως τίποτα , πάλευκο !
Το έδειξα στον υπεύθυνο της εταιρείας (στην έδρα τους στον Αγ. Ιωάννη Ρέντη) και του είπα που και πως το χρησιμοποιώ.
Η απάντηση:
"Ε, έπρεπε να μου το είχες πει. Για την περίπτωση σου χρειάζεται το διπλό φίλτρο πάγκου " (...)
So, I’ve had it for 11 months, it was installed on 15.5.25, it’s been working until today, I’ve opened it for cleaning 2 or 3 times, and next month when it completes a year I’ll replace it, as well as the activated carbon, because I use it as a second stage.
I use the ceramic as the first stage mainly because it’s washable and I want the carbon to filter only water and not sediments and such, which are held back by the ceramic at the start.
As a filter, it’s quite good, it didn’t break, it didn’t turn to mud as I’ve read elsewhere—obviously those things happened to others. It’s worth noting that the ceramic material, if it has a crack or general material flaw, can easily turn to dust... read up on how ceramic vessels are made in case someone doesn’t know.
The water comes out clean, I’ve seen it catch bulky particles (some black and brown stuff)—I don’t know what they were, but it caught them, and I never saw anything in the carbon filter, so the first stage worked, which means the carbon did its job even better. PLUS, the carbon has lasted longer compared to before, when I used polypropylene (those cotton-like ones) as the first stage.
Anyway, it does its job, and for me, since I have issues with the house pipes and generally we all have issues with the water—even though many people think everything is fine, especially for us residents of Attica—it’s an excellent filter. It would be good to use it not just alone in a single filter, but always as part of 2 or 3 stages. Economical and durable, it does its job, I will definitely buy it again now that I’m changing filters.
(Regarding odors, I have no opinion since I use it as a second stage and it affects the job of the ceramic and the carbon.)

σαν φίλτρο είναι αρκετά κάλο δεν έσπασε δεν έγινε λάσπη που διαβασά προφανώς και συνεβισαν αυτα και αξίζει να θυμίσουμε πως το κεραμικό υλικό αν έχει κάπου ράγισμα ι ατέλειά γενικα αστοχεια ηληκου είναι εύκολο να γίνει χώμα... διαβάστε πως κατασκεβαζοντε τα κεραμικά σκεβει σε περίπτωσή που κάποιος δεν ξέρει.
Το νερό βγένι καθαρό έχω δει να κραταη ογκώδη σώματα (κάτι μαβρα και καφέ) δεν ξερό τη ήταν παντός τα έπιασε και σαφώς δεν είδα ποτέ τίποτα στο φίλτρο άνθρακα οπότε το πρώτο στάδιο έγινε που σημαίνει πως ο άνθρακας έκανε μετά ακόμα καλλίτερα την δουλεία του ΣΥΝ ότι έχει διατηρηθεί παραπάνω ο ανθροκας σε σύγκριση με πριν που είχα για πρώτο στάδιο πολιπροπενιο αυτά σαν βαμβακι που είναι

First try, very nice water taste and odorless. The activated carbon, like the other one, initially gives a taste, as others have written, if you don't let the water run, it tastes bad.
On the downside. Be very, very careful even when rushing with the membrane. My first one broke in half with almost no pressure. I bought it again and confirm that although it's a 10-inch and its base is from the same company, this filter is bigger and doesn't fit in height. I had to cut the rubber rings with a utility knife and align them with the plastic of the filter. This way it worked without leaks.
I will update again.
Πρώτη δοκιμή πολύ ωραία γεύση νερού και άοσμο. Του ενεργού άνθρακα όπως και το άλλο που έρχεται αρχικά η γεύση, όπως γράφουν και άλλοι, εάν δεν το αφήσεις το νερό να τρέξει είναι άσχημη.
Στα μείον. Πολλή πολλή προσοχή ακόμα κι όταν βιάζεται τη μεμβρανη. Το πρώτο μου έσπασε στη μέση χωρίς σχεδόν πίεση. Το ξαναπηρα και επιβεβαιώνω πως αν και 10αρι και η βάση του είναι της ίδιας εταιρείας, το φίλτρο αυτό είναι μεγαλύτερο και δε χωράει στο ύψος. Αναγκάστηκα νακ κόψω με φαλτσέτα τα λαστιχάκια και να τα φέρω πρόσωπο με το πλαστικό του φίλτρου. Με αυτόν τον τρόπο δούλεψε χωρίς διαρροές.
Θα επανέλθω εκ νέου.

οπός και να έχει κανί τι δουλιατου και για έμενα που έχω θέμα με τις σωλήνωσις του σπιτιού και γενικά που έχουμε όλη θέμα με το νερό και ας νομίζουν πόλι πως όλα είναι καλά ειδικά για εμάς τους κάτοικους αττικής... είναι ένα εξαίρετο φίλτρο κάλο θα ήταν να μέιν μπει μεμονωμένα σε μονό φίλτρο αλά να είναι πάντα 2 η 3 σταδία. οικονομικό και ανθεκτικό κάνη τι δουλιατο θα το ξανά αγοράσω σίγουρα τώρα που θαλλάξω φίλτρα
(για της οζμες δεν εχω αποψη αφου δουλεβο 2ο σταδια και επιρεαζη τι δουλεια του κεραμικου και ο ανθρακας)
First try, very nice water taste and odorless. The activated carbon, like the other one, initially gives a taste, as others have written, if you don't let the water run, it tastes bad.
On the downside. Be very, very careful even when rushing with the membrane. My first one broke in half with almost no pressure. I bought it again and confirm that although it's a 10-inch and its base is from the same company, this filter is bigger and doesn't fit in height. I had to cut the rubber rings with a utility knife and align them with the plastic of the filter. This way it worked without leaks.

Πρώτη δοκιμή πολύ ωραία γεύση νερού και άοσμο. Του ενεργού άνθρακα όπως και το άλλο που έρχεται αρχικά η γεύση, όπως γράφουν και άλλοι, εάν δεν το αφήσεις το νερό να τρέξει είναι άσχημη.
Στα μείον. Πολλή πολλή προσοχή ακόμα κι όταν βιάζεται τη μεμβρανη. Το πρώτο μου έσπασε στη μέση χωρίς σχεδόν πίεση. Το ξαναπηρα και επιβεβαιώνω πως αν και 10αρι και η βάση του είναι της ίδιας εταιρείας, το φίλτρο αυτό είναι μεγαλύτερο και δε χωράει στο ύψος. Αναγκάστηκα νακ κόψω με φαλτσέτα τα λαστιχάκια και να τα φέρω πρόσωπο με το πλαστικό του φίλτρου. Με αυτόν τον τρόπο δούλεψε χωρίς διαρροές.
Θα επανέλθω εκ νέου.
I installed it on a 10-inch countertop device that is supposed to be compatible and I tighten it with the plastic wrench as much as it will go, but the device does not reach all the way down when tightening the thread like with the other filters, resulting in all the water coming out from the side and not a drop from the tap. I have experience with water filters as I have been using them for over 15 years and have tried many different brands, but this is the first time this has happened—even if there is a leak, not a drop comes out of the tap.
The strange thing is that I put it next to another 10-inch filter to compare them (photo) and I noticed that it is 2-3 millimeters taller, which is why it does not seal tightly. What's even stranger is that it is a filter from the same company as the device I have (ELGER), while compatible filters from other brands, e.g., Matrick, are fully compatible without any problems!
To τοποθετησα στη συσκευη 10 ιντσων ανω παγκου που υποτιθεται οτι ειναι συμβατο και το σφιγγω με το πλαστικο κλειδι οοο δεν παει αλλα η συσκευη δεν φτανει τερμα κατω στο σφιξιμο του σπειρωματος οπως με τα αλλα φιλτρα με αποτελεσμα ολο το νερο να βγαινει απο πλαγια και ουτε σταγονα απο το βρυσακι. Εχω εμπειρια σε φιλτρα νερου καθως χρησιμοποιω πανω απο 15 χρονια και εχω δοκιμασει παρα πολλων εταιριων αλλα αυτο πρωτη φορα γινεται εστω κι αν εχει διαρροη να μη βγαινει σταγονα απο το βρυσακι.
Το παραξενο ειναι οτι το εβαλα διπλα σε αλλο φιλτρο 10 ιντσων να τα συγκρινω (φωτο) και παρατηρω οτι ειναι 2-3 χιλιοστα ψηλοτερο γι αυτο δεν κλεινει ερμητικα. Το ακομα πιο παραξενο ειναι οτι ειναι φιλτρο της ιδιας εταιριας με τη συσκευη που εχω (ELGER) ενω συμβατα απο αλλες μαρκες πχ Μatrick ειναι πληρως συμβατο χωρις προβληματα!
I use it on a different brand countertop faucet, but I am satisfied as the water had a neutral taste and no smell at all. With what was given to me along with the filter, I had quite a few complaints about it and I changed it before its time
Το χρησιμοποιώ σε βρυσάκι άνω πάγκου άλλης μάρκας αλλά είμαι ικανοποιημένος καθώς το νερό είχε ουδέτερη γεύση και καθόλου μυρωδιά. Με αυτό που μου δόθηκε μαζί με το φίλτρο είχα αρκετά παράπονα για αυτό και το άλλαξα πριν την ώρα του
