Biocidal Biomaster

During the production of the plastic filter housing, the special biocide Biomaster® is added to the plastic. The inorganic nature, small particle size, and high temperature tolerance of the antimicrobial additive make it ideal for use in a wide range of applications.

It starts to work when bacteria begin to multiply. It reduces 80% of bacteria after 15 minutes and 99.99% of bacteria after 2 hours. It is designed to last for the entire lifetime of the product.

    Changing the filter after 1 year was relatively easy. The only slightly difficult part is tightening the filter completely to prevent dripping. Despite the included special tool, it required quite a bit of force.
