I tried it with a 55-inch television weighing 16 kg. The base set to the minimum strength (spring adjustment) did not allow the television to balance except around the middle of the range. Perhaps with a heavier weight (>23 kg) it would work better in the lower positions, but I still doubt it could hold the television in the highest position. It definitely is not worth the money.
