Ultrafiltration (UF) removes viruses, bacteria, and suspended particles from drinking water. Particles and high molecular weight materials are unable to pass through the UF membrane, allowing only fresh water and dissolved minerals to pass through. The UF membrane also has chemical resistance to oxidants and chlorine. 

Ultrafiltration (UF) uses a porous membrane to remove bacteria and viruses while retaining minerals. A UF system is an alternative to reverse osmosis, leading to faster and more efficient delivery of clean water. Additionally, UF hollow fiber membranes leave beneficial minerals intact. 

ACS-7 membranes are designed for filtering cold drinking water.
