I LIVE TO BE CONNECTED TO THE TRIBULATIONS OF MEN. The first biography in the Greek language of Elder Justin Pârvu is published by the AΘΩΣ editions in a four-color edition, which additionally includes teachings of the holy elder as well as a brief reference to his miracles. The translation into Modern Greek was done by Chara Lianantoni. The publication is released with the blessing of the women's Holy Monastery of Peter Voda in Romania, one of the largest women's monasteries in the country. Elder Justin Pârvu is considered a saint and confessor of Faith in the consciousness of the Romanian Orthodox people. The Holy Monastery of Peter Voda writes on the back cover of the book: By God's grace, we have reached the publication of the first tribute in the Greek language to the contemporary Romanian confessor of our Faith. Father Justin Pârvu was a genuine shepherd of souls, who was crucified for the love of Christ through deep trials and now lives as a resurrected man in our hearts. At the age of 17, he decided to become a monk, and five years later, with the outbreak of World War II, he found himself at the front as a military chaplain. In the storm of tribulations that followed, he was sentenced to seventeen years in prison. These years were for Father Justin a period of great spiritual struggle through martyrdom. He then returned to monastic life with a precious spiritual and experiential experience that made him a mountain of love in the eyes of all who knew him. This man, with the power of Christ's love, overcame the world. The reader will discover that in all phases of his life, the elder expressed the same virtues - inspiration, zeal, discernment. We are glad that by Divine providence, this publication was completed in 2019, the year marking 100 years since the birth of the Elder, and we wish that the Holy God richly bless the readers of this work for the benefit of the faithful Greek people.
