The CTO activated carbon pre-filters provide protection against chlorine, pesticides, and other chemical and organic pollutants, effectively purifying the water that passes through them, while also improving its taste and odor.
The permeability of these pre-filters is around 5μm and they offer maximum protection against chemical pollutants, as they do not wear out and do not cause the "channeling" effect where the water creates a single path as it passes through the filter, resulting in it not coming into contact with the entire filtering medium.
It is a suitable pre-filter (third stage) for reverse osmosis systems.
