Description

Description

Man existed until the days of Homer, perhaps without realizing that behind the appearance of a man lies something deeper and more powerful than even the sun that dispels the darkness.

How in his veins flows the essence of all-powerful gods who can bestow upon him the power of either destruction or creation. A man can become a beast or a healer who offers salvation, dogmatic as he peers into a black hole or a free light-giver who, with the power of imagination, pushes the world forward.

This is exactly what Homer did, and although it is not taught in schools, he took the ephemeral man and made him eternal. Odysseus intertwined within History matter and spirit, inherent weakness and his harsh strength, imperfections and his determination, and showed the way to the perfect man. As perfect as man can be.

Ithaca is not just a journey, it is the constant effort of consciousness to remain human and not mutate into a monster.
