The Pentair 2GSL 10" under-sink water filter system is suitable for filtering drinking water for both domestic and professional use. The filter system is installed under the kitchen counter. It is made from non-toxic materials suitable for drinking water, which comply with international regulations (Directive 98/83/EC).

    When I chose it, I saw good reviews but I also saw 2 that mentioned about the plastic threads that broke... I took the risk and bought it anyway. Unfortunately, the threads really don't tighten! And we are talking about water pressure, if something goes wrong, your house will flood... don't mess with that! A major disadvantage. I returned it and bought one from another company as long as it had metal threads. Don't make the mistake, guys, and get one with plastic... give something more, better!

    While its construction is very sturdy and high-quality, its threads are plastic and unfortunately had leakage from the first use, so I had to return it. I believe I simply got a defective product. But in general, plastic threads require a lot of attention because they cannot tighten like metal ones.

    The store replaced the product for me and offered to prepare it with the screws so that I wouldn't tighten them myself and cause damage. Since then, I haven't seen any leakage.
