The Aqua Pure AP-D.U.C. 14 Premium dual water filter system is installed under the sink or on the main water supply line and uses 10″ filters. The PD.P.R.A.-C. filter combines granular activated carbon made from coconut shell with polyphosphate crystals, while the Aqua Pure AP-C.Y.D. filter is made from solid activated carbon that is 100% coconut shell and has a filtration rating of 0.5 μm. The system includes a faucet and an Aqua Filter FCPRA-C replacement filter.

The granular stage reduces chlorine, organic substances and certain pesticides, while helping to improve the taste and odor of the water. The polyphosphate crystals limit the precipitation of elements such as iron, calcium and magnesium, helping to reduce limescale deposits on utensils and washing machines. The solid carbon filter traps lead, copper, mercury and strontium, as well as volatile organic compounds, asbestos, particles and herbicides whose main ingredient is atrazine.
