The Aqua Pure AP-D.U.C. 14 Scale filtration system is installed under the counter and features two filtration stages with 10″ filters. The first stage uses a polyphosphate crystal filter, which breaks down limescale and helps prevent scale buildup in appliances such as washing machines and kettles. The second stage features a solid coconut-shell activated carbon filter, which helps remove chemicals and volatile organic compounds, as well as lead, copper, mercury, strontium and cysts down to 0.5 microns.

The system connects to the water supply via a ½″ adapter and includes a countertop faucet, connection tubing, a housing wrench and fittings. The polyphosphate crystal cartridge should be replaced approximately every 10 to 12 months, depending on the quality and quantity of water processed by the system.
