I bought it for connecting an old DVD home cinema that only has a scart connection to a smart TV. Perfect picture, perfect sound, worth it.

2 stars because it works (under certain conditions) but the image it produces is blurry.
Also, for those thinking of getting it to connect an old computer like the Commodore Amiga or a gaming console to a modern screen, don't bother. The Amiga outputs a video signal at 15KHz and it won't work unless an upscaler is used. Other devices that output a signal at 30KHz (e.g. SEGA Mega Drive) work, but the image quality is extremely poor, comparable to being connected via RF or composite. No comparison to direct SCART connection.

Επίσης για όσους σκέφτονται να το πάρουν για να συνδέσουν παλιό υπολογιστή πχ commodore amiga ή παιχνιδομηχανή σε σύγχρονη οθόνη μην κάνουν τον κόπο. Η amiga βγάζει σήμα βίντεο στα 15KHz και δεν πρόκειται να λειτουργήσει εκτός αν παρεμβληθεί upscaler. Άλλες συσκευές που εκπέμπουν σήμα στα 30KHz (π.χ. SEGA mega drive) δουλεύουν αλλά η εικόνα είναι επιεικώς τραγική, η ποιότητα είναι εφάμιλλη με το να είχε συνδεθεί μέσω RF ή composite. Καμία σχέση με απευθείας SCART.
It does what it needs to do. It doesn't upgrade the image, which is reasonable. For image enhancement, something more than nine euros is needed. It converts the analog signal to digital and does it well.
Καλό κάνει αυτό που πρέπει. Δεν αναβαθμίζει την εικόνα λογικό. Για αναβάθμιση εικόνας χρειάζεται κάτι παραπάνω από εννέα ευρώ. Μετατρέπει το αναλογικό σήμα σε ψηφιακό και το κάνει καλά.
