    And I say may because personally, it didn't come with any manual that explains its functions, so whenever it shuts off automatically, I can't know the exact reason why it does it.. (it may do it when the battery is low, for example - because it hasn't only happened to me when it is hot)

It has fallen from a height of 10 meters and the only thing it suffered was a few scratches, and after falling into water, it still worked without any problems. One of the best purchases I have made.
