    I replaced my beloved Krups EA8108 which broke down after 11 years.
    I got this one because of the ease with the milk frother but also because a whole shaker fits underneath so I can make freddo espresso more easily.
    I haven't tried many coffees yet but I can say that it makes better coffee than the EA8108.
    The Dark function uses a bit more coffee but also does a slower extraction, which was the biggest downside of the EA8108.
    With 250 grams of coffee and the Dark function active, I made 26 coffees, so it uses about 10 grams of coffee. That's a lot for a single espresso but at least it doesn't come out watery like most automatics, and I can easily make a freddo espresso with a single shot.
    The only negative I've found is that it doesn't have a rinse button; you have to go to Setting - Maintenance - Coffee rinsing - OK and select it from there. But you can set it to rinse automatically every time it turns on.

It does not have a slot for ground coffee while others do. However, it has something that other brands do not have. Activation at a set time so it is ready when you want. Also, it is probably slower than others as it grinds and makes up to a single coffee each time. That is, if you want a double, it makes 2 singles. If you want 2 doubles (it can do it), then it makes 4 ... singles in a row.

    Bought on monthly installments.
    In the first months of use, it was leaking underneath the base. I took it for service and they told me that a moisture component was damaged. They returned it to me after about 1 month. During this whole period, my wife and I had to buy coffee from outside every day (2-4 coffees per day for 1 month, you understand...). I received it back from the service and within the month, it had the exact same problem.

    For such an expensive machine, it is not justified to have the same problem twice. Furthermore, personally, I am not crazy about the coffee it makes, but that is a matter of personal taste.

    In conclusion, if I had to evaluate it without encountering the problem I mentioned, I would give it 3 stars.
