This review is about the size: 64 GB

I bought it hoping that it would be FAT32 or FAT16. Unfortunately, it is EXFAT and does not work in my car's stereo. I managed to change it with a program that you download from the internet, but unfortunately, afterwards it behaves strangely. It does not read all the folders, and many times the sound system does not recognize it at all. It may be ideal for someone who needs exFAT, but for a car audio system, it does not work. Unfortunately, Kingston does not provide this information anywhere for you to read before purchasing.

The review concerns a purchase that was made when the usb2 16GB cost about 12-14 euros. So I have it for 10+ years. It's slow (about 10MB/s read, about 5MB/s write). And yes, today, November 7, 2023, it's not worth 8 euros. Enough with the negatives. Let's move on to the positives:
The casing heats up and thus keeps the memory at the right temperature, that's why it has lasted so long (and continues to do so). It has been through the washing machine at 50°C three times, it has fallen into dirty water and I washed it with chlorine (of course, I rinsed it quickly), I have also washed it a few times with alcohol... It has been chewed by my dog, the metal exterior has come off and it has marks, but it doesn't affect its functionality.
It still works fine, and it probably still has some life left... DOG!

I wonder why Kingston puts the worst thing in such a beautiful shell.

Perfect as long as it worked, just after 2 years of occasional use, the PC doesn't recognize it as a device, you need to plug it in 2-3 times for it to be recognized, so something has been damaged in the pins

The review is about the 32gb.
It is extremely elegant, beautiful (among the top 5 sticks in terms of appearance), very practical, and durable as can be. All of these easily earn it 4/5 stars.
It loses 1 star due to its performance. It is slow, but after 2+ years of continuous rewrites, it doesn't falter in terms of reliability. I suppose we have to tolerate its one drawback compared to its countless advantages :)
For anyone who wants it for specialized use like gaming or boot CDs, I do not recommend it due to its speed, but for anything else, it is top-notch. It guarantees that your files are safe from external impacts as well as within the drive!

I bought this particular flash drive to have it on my keys since it's metallic.
Everything was fine at first, but after some time (a few months) it doesn't make good contact. If I insert it all the way into the port, it doesn't read it, I have to pull it back a little and then it reads it normally.

Truly the worst thing out there. Don't get it, don't waste even 1 cent to get this miserable and slow USB stick. I've had it for a few years and from the first moment I realized that its purchase was terrible. It takes excessively long to read, to write without ever having transferred anything heavy to it. Now it doesn't even play properly, with good use from my side. Protect your mental health by staying away from this.

Do you want to become a Zen monk? Do you enjoy watching grass grow? Are you proud to tell your friends that you are a monster of patience? Wait until you decide to write a movie on this USB stick!

It is incredibly durable and beautiful, but kids, it's one of those USB sticks that you write once and throw in the drawer (bootable USB, etc). Forever. Reading speed is okay. Writing, on the other hand, will give you plenty of time for a shower, a shave, a night out with the old gang, a successful hook-up at a nightclub, the first outings with the new girl, the first kiss, engagements, and on the first night of marriage if you check just as the file you were copying to the USB stick finishes (another 6 hours at most). Kids, it's not possible. Cancer. Get a cassette and a ZX Spectrum for such situations.

Practical and durable due to its metal construction, perfect for your keys but frustratingly slow. Recommended for someone who has a lot of small personal files (e.g. Word, Excel, a few photos). Otherwise, you will suffer to fill it up. Especially in terms of writing, it goes at a turtle's pace.

For its price, it is good! Personally, I choose Kingston because the lifespan of every Kingston USB Flash is long! It lasts for years, it has a long lifespan! I know it myself, that's why I say it!
    Lifespan: Long 10+ years
    Speed: Slow - From 1.5 MB/s to 4.5 MB/s (Constantly fluctuating)
Size: Small - Doesn't take up much space and requires attention
    Price: Very good
    Storage: Good

So, it is for those who are looking for a decent flash drive, at a low price, with a capacity of 16GB (depending on what each person needs), and for those who have patience due to slow transfer/speed!

Surname, high-quality and helpful USB stick, ideal for everyday use. Relatively fast data transfer, without distortions. Of course, it could have been faster, but you get what you pay for. The capacity is sufficient for someone who wants to have it with them for simple and small files. The size helps to always have it with you and its design is quite elegant and discreet. Overall, it's worth its money and I recommend it for someone who wants 16GB at a low price.

Definitely it is a very good choice, quality and entirely made of aluminum with a small size, it also has a "ring" to attach it to your keys! The only negative is the data transfer speed since it is USB 2.0, but for its price, it is really value for money

Quite good for its price. Data transfer speed is proportional to its price. It's not very fast, but someone might be more interested in its capacity. One downside is that it's not covered by anything in the front, so it's vulnerable to dust and dirt.

Visually nice and small, with 32GB.
But very poor in terms of speed. On average, 4-5MB per second.
Very disappointing considering that a USB bought five years ago was working at 28-30MB.

Now it is slow because when I bought it, fast USB 3.0 did not exist yet! However, it is metallic-durable and fits nicely on keychains!

Because I was interested in its appearance, I am satisfied with the purchase.

Quite good for its price. Data transfer speed is proportional to its price. It's not very fast, but someone might be more interested in its capacity. One downside is that it's not covered by anything in the front, so it's vulnerable to dust and dirt.

They didn't present any problem, both the new ones and the one I have for over 2 years, which is constantly on the PC for readyboost.

    Good design and construction materials.
Large capacity at a good price.

Very slow, but very, very slow writing and reading speed. In fat32 format (there was a reason), the writing reaches 5 mb/sec

    Positives.
    Metal frame
    Small size
    Convenient on a keychain
    Cheap

    Negatives.
One of the worst in data transfer speed
Short lifespan (stopped working after less than 2 years with very light use)

Visually nice and small, with 32GB.
But very poor in terms of speed. On average, 4-5MB per second.
Very disappointing considering that a USB bought five years ago was working at 28-30MB.

  • I bought it hoping that it would be FAT32 or FAT16.

  • The review concerns a purchase that was made when the usb2 16GB cost about 12-14 euros.
DOG!

  • Compact and small but that's about it. It gets stuck and is not fast enough for USB 3. After a short period of use, it went off: constantly connecting and disconnecting, making it unusable.

  • The slowest but also the most beautiful and practical USB Flash drive I have ever had.
I wonder why Kingston puts the worst thing in such a beautiful shell.

  • I bought the DTSE9 128GB. Stay away! The worst flash drive I've ever had. Very slow and doesn't connect to anything.!!!
