Description

Description

8K Video Snap is changing the way you take videos and photos, and 5G is changing the way you share content. Add to that Samsung Knox security, smart battery management, a powerful processor and large storage. The Galaxy S20 series opens up a whole new world in the mobile device category.

Design

Dynamic AMOLED 2X

The frame has almost disappeared, with no notch, just a small hole for the camera. The HDR10+-certified Infinity-O display offers a huge, immersive screen with few distractions.

Screen 120HZ

120Hz makes every screen scroll smooth with seamless transitions. At the same time, the touch response speed gives you precision and an even more interactive gaming experience. You'll only believe it when you see it... and feel it.

Battery that lasts

Powerful 5000mAh battery with an intelligent management system that adapts to your smartphone usage patterns to save energy and last longer with every charge. Features ultra-fast charging, 2.0 fast wireless charging and Wireless Powershare that lets you charge your headphones, your smartwatch, and even a friend's smartphone.

High-speed 5G

With a built-in 5G modem, the Galaxy S20 Ultra gives you charging and downloading capabilities in an instant. That means livestreaming, sharing and gaming with minimal delays at ultra-high speeds. You need optimal 5G connectivity. 5G services are only supported in locations with 5G network capabilities enabled in countries with infrastructure for 5G. Actual speed may vary depending on country, network provider and user environment.

Camera

Multiple professional-level camera

The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra features a 108MP wide-angle lens, 48MP telephoto lens, 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, ToF depth-of-field (VGA) lens and a 40MP wide-angle lens on the front for selfies.

High resolution

Going far beyond the usual 12 megapixels, the Galaxy S20 Ultra offers an incredible 108 megapixels. That's millions more pixels that deliver sharp shots that you can crop and print without losing any detail.

Space Zoom

The most advanced zoom so far starts with the 10x Hybrid Optic Zoom and is offered by a folding lens and a high-resolution image sensor. Combine these with Super Resolution Zoom enhanced by the camera's artificial intelligence and you capture the action up close and capture shots you might have missed.

Bright Night

In low-light conditions, the professional camera system takes multiple photos at once, combining them into a great shot with less blur and noise. With large image sensors, artificial intelligence and the use of Night Mode, you can capture night scenes as clearly as daytime.

Camera Selfie

40MP makes your selfies stand out

A powerful selfie camera on a Galaxy smartphone. The Galaxy S20 Ultra's 40-megapixel front-facing camera gives you professional-grade technology so that selfies have exceptional detail, and switches to 10MP mode with larger pixels for crystal-clear low-light selfies.

8K Video Snap changes the way you take photos and videos

Samsung is pioneering video recording resolution from a smartphone, moving from 4K to 8K. This resolution is 4 times greater than UHD and 16 times greater than FHD. 8K video makes each frame appear as a crystal clear image, which you can zoom in on for unique photos up to 33MP.

Super Steady

Sophisticated artificial intelligence stabilises the video just like a real action cam.

The large image sensor and anti-rolling stabilizer compensate for camera movement, so your shots are not blurry and unstable, but extremely smooth.

One shot

Burst Mode

The Mia shot is essentially the Burst mode but with superpowers. With AI, you can shoot up to 10 seconds and get a variety of different shots, which means you can choose the best style for each moment without the need for re-shoots.

Pro Mode

Control the way you capture with the options offered by Pro Mode. Just like on a DSLR, you can manually adjust settings like ISO, shutter speed and exposure level just as you like.

Security

Samsung has created a secure processor that aims to protect your PIN, password, pattern and your private blockchain key. Combined with the Knox platform, every part of your smartphone is now secure, from hardware to software. So private data remains private.

    Verified purchase

After 2 months of use, I am completely satisfied. I bought it because it was on sale, although it is a relatively old model, but for the simple use I want it for, I am more than satisfied. Very good and clear photos and the only downside I would say is the usual suspect battery, although it still lasts me 1.5 days with normal use.

In a few words, the rule "you get what you pay for" is confirmed.... At the 800 Euros I got it, I think it's one of the very good choices someone can make to get a good phone. Now I'm not getting into the logic of "mine is 0.2 mSec faster" etc. etc.

I have had it for the last month. At first, it had issues with the battery and would overheat, but after the update, the phone runs smoothly and the battery lasts me a day and a half, even with heavy usage. As for the quality, Samsung really delivers. I had the Note 9 before, but the screen on this one is even better and the fingerprint scanner is lightning fast. The Bixby routine is also a great feature that helps you discover new things about your phone. I plan on keeping it for at least 4 years. The camera has also improved significantly, as has the video quality and sound. The only downside is the camera bump, but a good case solves that problem. And let's face it, in 2020, the audio jack is outdated. If you're willing to spend the money, Samsung is definitely worth it. If you're looking for a cheaper option, go for Xiaomi. Samsung is in a league of its own.

I am waiting to see when Samsung will decide to treat us Europeans equally with the Americans. According to what I read and see, it could also have Qualcomm's processor in Europe. But as long as we remain victims and continue to go to Samsung, I do not see their behavior changing towards us.

I have had the title's mobile since yesterday and one thing I have to say is that I don't know what problem it had with the screen, but now after the upgrade, the mobile runs smoothly, it doesn't freeze anywhere, and its camera is amazing, perhaps the best camera in a mobile. The mobile is a beast and worth its money.

I bought it 2 weeks ago and had the s10 before. It's awesome. It has a great camera and I like that it charges very fast. And the screen is perfect at 120hz. But the price still needs to drop because it's not worth paying so much just for the camera, I think.

It's a very good and fast mobile phone, but the only problem is that it breaks very easily. I've had it for a week and the screen has broken in many places. And imagine that it broke when it fell on the carpet.

Hello, this is my first time writing. I've always been an iPhone owner, and my latest phone is the 11pro (waterproof), let me laugh. I really made the change and realized how many years behind I was. Every day I discover something amazing on this phone, I've had it for a month now. Simply the best phone I've ever had, both as a phone and as a work tool.

The 8K video changes the way of shooting. It's really good, it has games, it's awesome, it's perfect. It has a large screen resolution and very good battery life. It's worth the money for many things. This phone is quite expensive, but it has very good photography with 108 megapixels and very large megapixels. The photo is nice and clear. Since everything is so good, where can you find the money? It's very expensive, of course. Skroutz is the one who has it cheaper. Everyone has it very expensive, but Skroutz has it cheaper. Bravo to Skroutz

1400 euros in 2020, I won't mention the positives as they are pretty well-known. I'll focus on the negatives. First of all, you get a mobile phone with a garbage processor, the Samsung Exynos, which overheats on its own without any usage. The phone freezes quite often. The battery is also useless for its size, it barely lasts until noon and I'm disappointed. It's a shame that Huawei left the market, that's all I have to say. 1400 euros for nothing. The camera is good, but with many problems, and that was the reason why I bought it in the first place. It only has a good zoom, nothing else. Stay away, guys. Why would you spend so much money on it and sell it after a month and lose 500 to 600 euros?

The Samsung did a good job with the fast screen, but it falls short in the photography department and the battery doesn't last, especially if you use it all day.

Coming from the S9, there are no functional differences or additional features in the camera. I tried the 120hz once and immediately switched back to 60hz because it drains the battery quickly. The device is a small tablet, only 7 inches, which is too large for good portability. Overall, I'm not impressed because I also have an excellent and problem-free S9. I'll probably give the S20 away because it's not durable enough for daily use. I'll stick with my S9. If anyone wants a small tablet, the S20 Ultra is a great option.

Good evening, I had the phone for 3 days.

Simply put, it's not worth the money at all.. If it had the Snapdragon version in Europe for around 800-900 then yes.

    Positives: Zoom capabilities, ultrawide, etc.
    Screen
    Sound
    Design
    Operating system
    120hz
    Sam's service is amazing
    Negatives:
Camera unfortunately is not great despite having 100mp
Needs a lot of updates to improve
Battery life is terrible at 120hz, only lasts 4 hours sot
    Price
    No snap version in Europe.
Size is really like a brick with the cameras protruding
Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it at this price.

I am the owner of the S20 Ultra 13/3, coming from the Note9 and previously the S8+, S7, and S4, so I know Samsung well. I consider myself a heavy user because I use almost all of its functions, especially with Samsung Dex since the S8+.

There are TWO reasons to get the S20 Ultra:
    1) If you don't want anything less than the perfect/latest Samsung model and have the money for it, therefore being a big Samsung fanboy.
    2) If you simply want the large screen (6.9") and the specific camera setup.

The average user won't notice the difference that the S20 Ultra's camera has from the other S20 models. Therefore, in my opinion, if you want a large and powerful phone, the best choice is the S20+ which has everything (not the S20 Ultra), including camera, battery, and a large screen!

As a previous owner of the S10 Plus and now the S20 Ultra, I have to say the following about the differences: High resolution photos thanks to the 108MP lens. The photos are of very good quality and especially the night ones with the night mode are crystal clear! 8K video at 24 frames per second, for high resolution that resembles a movie theater screen (7680x4320). Amazing selfies as it has a 40MP camera! The ZOOM MIC is fantastic, something that many people don't know exists. The phone is the best thing currently available!

Did you know what phone you were getting before you bought it? It's better than anything out there right now. Pre-order and get the buds+ for free. There's an issue with the AF (auto focus), there's noticeable focus hunting in low light situations and constantly changing white balance in auto video mode. I'm just mentioning it because Samsung already announced a software update this month to fix all of these. The 120hz refresh rate drops to 60hz when the phone reaches 15% battery (not 5%) due to AI that monitors your usage and adapts to your demands from the 5th day. An expected update will allow for 120hz and maximum resolution, but it's not recommended due to increased battery drain.

Update: The fix for the AF and other updates have been released for Exynos 990 models (Snapdragon is delayed) which get the updates first. Tip: Register your fingerprint three times for faster unlocking.

Update: The camera is fully restored with monthly updates. Still the best.

I come from Galaxy Note 8. The differences are not significant enough to justify the price difference.
The worst thing, of course, is the fingerprint sensor for unlocking the screen. It rarely opens on the first touch. The Note 8 unlocks much faster. For so much money, it is unacceptable for the fingerprint sensor not to work properly.

Hello everyone! The mobile phone is a beast of power, photography, and battery! Meanwhile, I have the P30 PRO, the king of batteries that outperforms 98% of the phones on the planet, but not the Ultra, which surprised me! Everything is great on this phone! I can't find any flaws or anything that bothered me!

My opinion on the first day changed over time as I used the mobile phone.
On the third day, it started to surprise me not only with the photos but also with all these wonderful features they have put in it to do. It has great capabilities that you understand as you use it. It takes a lot of searching and many hours with it to find all the things it can do. And believe me, it does a lot of things! To help you, find the built-in guide it has and there it will show you many functions it has. I gave it 4 stars because I think it could have a better price than Samsung.
