I am a proud owner of the S8. I wanted to upgrade because after 1 year, the S8's battery lost 15% and after 3 years, it lost 40%. I also had issues with fast charging, as sometimes it would work with the Type-C cable and sometimes it wouldn't, so I had to unplug and plug it back in to make it work. But overall, I was very satisfied with the phone and the company.

So when the S20 was released, I thought it was time for an upgrade and unfortunately, being blinded by the Samsung label, I didn't watch any videos on YouTube or read any reviews online. The only thing I knew was that the phone didn't have a headphone jack, which is unacceptable for Samsung, considering they mocked Apple for not having one all these years, and now they did the same thing. They claimed that removing the headphone jack would give them more space for the battery, etc. However, I've seen mid-range phones from the same company that still have a headphone jack and support a 5000mAh to 6000mAh battery. So that really disappointed me personally because I'm a big fan of music and I listen to it for many hours a day on my phone. AirPods are not an option for me. So there, Samsung lost me. Other companies may do it, but we're talking about a phone that costs 1400 euros. You can buy a car with that money, but not a phone with a headphone jack from a company that mocked Apple for the same thing.

Now let's talk about the good and bad things about the phone.
+ The screen is amazing. The best I've ever seen in my life, and that was one of the reasons why I wanted to get a Samsung product.
+ The phone is quite fast, especially with the 120Hz refresh rate.
+ Personally, I like the software and I haven't had any problems with it.

Negatives:
- The cameras are generally good, and you can take some of the best photos of your life with a mobile device. But when you pay 1400 euros and the autozoom is shaky as if someone is hitting the phone from above, it's really disappointing. The 8K videos have no difference compared to 4K and they take up a lot of space. At night, the phone takes good photos, but I've seen the P40 in many videos and it's much better at night, although I don't have personal experience with it. But compared to the S8, the photos are not as chaotic, especially at night with the night mode. Money plays a role here (I remind you, it costs 1400 euros).

- Once again, we are cursed with the worst processor in a flagship phone from a big company, along with several other countries. The internet is full of criticism for Samsung's unacceptable product, which they proudly put in their best phones. The Exynos is worse in everything and affects everything. The difference in battery life with the Snapdragon is 25% (experts say it, not me). It affects the cameras and the overall performance of the phone. Also, the phone overheats excessively and you feel like it's going to catch fire in your hands. All of this, combined with the 1400 euros price tag, makes the whole thing ridiculous. Samsung itself, for the first time in its home country of Korea, released the S20 with the Snapdragon processor. That alone shows how problematic the Exynos is and that they were probably afraid of backlash in Korea. But in other countries, they didn't really care because money is above everything. They will sell their product as much as they can unless people stop buying it.

- Battery life. Honestly, I've had phones with 4000mAh or less and they lasted much longer. I set the ultra to 60hz and still, at the end of the day, I have to charge its "5000 mAh" battery. And maybe their garbage processor that they have been loading us with for years plays a role in this. At 120hz, it takes 4-5 hours to charge.
All of this makes me believe that the s20 ultra is not worth its money despite its amazing screen and good speakers that I forgot to mention earlier. 1400 euros in combination with a failed camera, the worst processor in a mobile phone from a big company, mediocre battery performance, no headphone jack (unacceptable) make me feel foolish. And before I conclude, I want to mention that the note 20 ultra, which will be released in a few days and should be the best phone from the company, will also have the same Exynos processor and the phone will cost around 1300 euros if I'm not mistaken. Many may wonder why it will cost 100 euros less than the s20 ultra. Maybe Samsung wants to present it as its flagship phone for 2020, but they probably made some cuts. It will have 3 cameras instead of 4. No upgrade in the processor, but they will give it the same one as the s20 series, even though they know that the Exynos 990 is problematic and has nothing to do with the Snapdragon. Also, the battery will be 4500 mAh instead of 5000 like the S20 ultra, and 12 GB of RAM instead of 16. The only thing it will have is the ability to be at 120 Hz and have ultra HD resolution, which the S20 didn't allow you to have, and I forgot to mention that earlier. Yes, for 1400 euros, the phone didn't give you that capability. But probably for these cuts, the "better phone of theirs" will cost 1300 euros. Personally, never again Exynos. It's offensive.
That's all from me. I hope before anyone buys it, they watch many videos because I made the mistake of overlooking this major factor.

I've had it for about a month. It costs as much as a good All-In-One PC. But it's also a powerful mini-computer in your hand. With a screen that fits a lot, even the main screen rotates horizontally. With very good resolution and speed in executing each function. The high screen refresh rate of 120Hz gives a unique feel to the movement. Photos and videos are very advanced, good zoom, automatic photo enhancement. While taking a photo, it has automatically taken more shots and selects the best one or you can choose another or make it a mini-video or GIF. I can keep writing and it doesn't end. What someone needs to know is that we are talking about a large-sized phone, it requires large palms and has some weight. The battery lasts, but everything depends on the reason the battery is consumed, i.e. screen, applications, games, etc. which, however, you can control and avoid large consumptions, especially those that happen without your knowledge.

Easy connection with Windows and there is also Samsung DEX which makes your phone a normal desktop and you can work with many windows open and the phone to do its own work in parallel, so it's like having both a phone and a PC or connecting it with HDMI to a large touchpad screen. All these make it a professional phone and mini-computer that you always have with you and ultimately becomes an extension of your hand.

For now, the only problem I faced is the increased battery consumption, resulting in the battery appearing not to last. However, the phone itself warned me about applications that consume battery without having them open or without opening them at all. They had been transferred from the previous phone. I cleaned them up, adjusted them, and now there is no problem. I'm not saying that the battery lasts for days, but at this stage, it doesn't bother me to last more than a day. However, the battery does not limit its use and I can play games, I want the screen to be bright, I shoot videos and I never run out of battery during the day. It warms up sometimes. For example, when I work the camera a lot. The camera takes very good shots and I haven't seen the problems reported by others. Now, if it breaks easily, I don't know, I have it in a Smart Led Cover case, it fell once or twice on tiles with the case but nothing happened.
I think the phone is in a different category and whoever wants to buy it and spend so much money should really know what they are doing and why they want it.

I am the owner of the Galaxy S series from S8 onwards, as well as all iPhone devices up to today! The phone is generally good and I won't dwell on the funny reviews and comparisons that say it's 1ms faster than opening an application, etc., but in general daily use.

The phone is incredibly fast, has a great screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, good sound and camera, but also quite a few bugs that will probably be fixed in the next few months. Personally, I don't think it's worth €1,400 because it has 100X Zoom that can't be seen with current technology.

In summary:

+Great screen
+120Hz is a real game changer
+Sound
+Functional

-Camera (it's very good but for €1,400, what it offers isn't...)
-Battery (it's average to good after the upgrade, but for 5,000Ma and €1,400, it's not...)
-Half of 120Hz if you want full screen resolution (a logical move with such a battery)
-Exynos 990 (I'm not referring to 1-2-3fps or 1-2-3ms speed, but generally to the inferiority compared to this year's competitive processor used in other countries)

In conclusion, the phone in the hands of an average user is from another planet and may not understand anything from the negatives I list! For more savvy and power users, these are, in my opinion, the phone's problems. Some will definitely be fixed and some won't! However, this phone is not worth €1,400!

*Update 05/05/2020: After continuous upgrades of the model, there is an improvement in the camera, but I still wouldn't take it out of the negatives, but what I would change is the review towards the battery! It has improved at least twice based on what it was at the time of purchasing the device!

*Update 12/06/2020: After a few more upgrades, the camera has improved significantly and the battery has remained consistently good!

Former owner of the P30 Pro here, and I have to say I don't regret it at all in terms of screen and sound. As for the camera, because I already had the P30 Pro, I didn't notice a big difference. However, I want to believe that with updates, they will do something better! With full use, the battery lasts me 24 hours... for now! I've been a owner since the first day of release!

2. Second evaluation after 2 months of use and many problems accumulated, and in the end, I sold it and got the P40 Pro, which is superior in every way except for the sound. The phone is incomparable, especially in terms of cameras!!! In the last few days, there was an issue with the screen due to software. It would randomly increase the brightness and change from cool to warm and vice versa. This was the last straw that made me get rid of it... The camera, while it fixed the auto focus on close objects, doesn't produce anything correctly and comes out blurry. If you shake the phone up and down, it rings because the lens is moving. If you search for videos on YouTube, there are some that say it's not a problem, but for me, it's the only phone at €1400 that rings. In Google Chrome, several times on simple pages like car.gr, it would freeze and not respond at all, which is unacceptable for such a phone. It did the same thing on Instagram, but there it might be due to the app update. Taking off the case with music playing, Wi-Fi, and Messenger, after 5 minutes, the phone starts to lag. All of these things together made me disappointed and regretful for the money I spent on Samsung. Stay away!

I really can't understand why some people here write what they write.
Owner of the S20 Ultra from the first day it was available in Greece.
The problem with Autofocus has now been corrected.
The camera is fantastic. The zoom at x100 is not for social media, but it exists and is interesting.
Mobile power... I don't think anyone will ever use all of its processing power.
Screen... 120hz even if it reduces battery life a bit. You just haven't seen anything like it before.
Battery... With 120hz and heavy use with everything open. BT GPS WIFI Data AOD and whatever else I might need, it EASILY lasts 1 day. Continuously watching NETFLIX it will easily last 8-10 hours in a row.
Size... Yes, 6.9 is big. I read that some people complain about the size... Well then why did you buy it? Look at it first... If you don't want the 6.9, get the S20 or S20+.
Mobile sound... Very good. For those who have soundbar requirements, get a soundbar.
Charging. From 0% to 100% in 57 minutes with the charger that comes with it at 25w. If you get the 45w one, it drops to 45 minutes. (You'll be wasting your money)
Fingerprint... If you record it correctly, it will never betray you.
Price... Yes, it should have been lower.
And let's not forget. It's a new device, which means it has MANY updates that will make it even better.
Would I recommend it? If your pocket can handle it and you like the latest technology in everything, of course.

Before I start judging the phone, I must say that I change devices every year and this year I was using the iPhone XS Max. You can understand that my evaluation is quite comprehensive. I can say that overall I am satisfied since the phone is very reliable. I won't focus on details because if I have to judge it strictly, compared to the XS Max, it's not what I expected... meaning that as far as the speed and power of the phone are concerned, it is undoubtedly very strong, but for a 2020 model with so much money, I expected much more. The camera, which was perhaps the main reason, I can say that it is quite good, but the zoom, as good as it is, does not have very good quality (too much noise) and even though the iPhone's 8k video remains much better in resolution, colors, everything. And finally, the battery lasts more hours if the usage of most Herz is not done, but even without the use of auras, I expected much more, as it only gives me just 1 hour more than my old phone (and less). Generally, I wouldn't recommend it...

So I decided to write my own review as I see monsters...is it possible for someone to give this phone a star because it doesn't take good videos...please look at the camera capabilities of the s20 ultra in a camera store and tell me the price...
to not bore those who don't know how to use it, get an iPhone or another s20 or whatever your heart desires...but don't ruin an achievement with foolish reviews because you are inexperienced and want to use effects because you have money and you were able to buy it...yes, you can buy it if you have the money, but if you don't know how to use it, I say again, get an iPhone, it has less handling requirements...
