The construction method of activated carbon filters ensures the maximum possible water flow since the chemical medium inside the filter is in granular form.
It is used as a carbon filter in water coolers with a filtration system and as a final stage (fifth) in under-sink reverse osmosis systems (post carbon filter).
Their lifespan ranges from 4 to 6 months, depending on the quality of the water passing through the filtration medium.
