This filter is installed internally in Samsung refrigerators. It features compact activated carbon that reduces most harmful substances and provides crystal clear and healthy water for you and your family. It effectively reduces chlorine, chloroform, organics, cysts, lead, bad taste, turbidity, and more.

To be absolutely sure that this filter is doing its job correctly, it is NSF certified.

We recommend replacing this filter every time the reminder light on your refrigerator turns on or at least once a year.

    I bought it for my refrigerator RS21FGRS. The price was half of the original despite being the same filter internally, and that's why I preferred it. As soon as I screwed it into the slot and tightened it, I closed the refrigerator feeling satisfied. After an hour, I noticed water leakage inside the refrigerator shelves under the filter. I removed it and repositioned it, but water droplets still came out from the connection. Visually, there was no breakage in the filter, and after many attempts, I realized that it didn't fit perfectly in my refrigerator slot, even though my refrigerator model was supported by this specific product! Since I happen to have amateur experience with plumbing, I used plenty of Teflon sealing tape and managed to finally stop the leakage. I will wait for it to expire to purchase the authentic one, even if it's more expensive, as I have done in the past. Do not choose it if you don't have experience with hydraulic sealing.
