As a holder of this specific model since 2018, I have to say the following. Generally, it is a durable boot for rough terrain and average in comfort for city use. It keeps the foot stable, and the waterproofing is satisfactory for the first period. The first pair, with daily use on mixed terrain but mostly in the city, lasted decently for 5 years, with the only wear being the sole, which wore down to the point of detachment, and of course, it lost its waterproofing. For this reason, I bought it again last year. The only and significant difference I noticed, and I am sure of this compared to the first one, is the sole. While it seems to be the same, it slips INCREDIBLY on wet surfaces. No comparison to the previous one. Otherwise, as for the materials used, it seems just as good

Very good shoes for light use and hiking. They are comfortable, lightweight, and have very good grip and traction on all types of terrain one might encounter in mountainous areas such as rocks, streams (in the water), mud, soil, and steep, large slopes. Personally, I used the shoes in very intense mountain conditions systematically for a year, and here I must mention the negative aspect I perceive in them. Specifically, the shoes showed very pronounced signs of wear, and compared to my next purchase of another brand, the Adidas showed wear within this one-year period that the other shoes took three years of similar use to acquire. I should point out that the Gore-Tex membranes maintained their performance and properties, despite the general wear that the shoe underwent, especially the soles.

It is the third pair of swift terrex shoes with gore tex that I bought and I thought it would last like the other two, but something went wrong.. The sole wears out easily and it slips DANGEROUSLY in the wet, and I wish that was the only issue, but both shoes also let in water from below. Additionally, there is a sound like broken plastic coming from the right shoe when I take it off. They are definitely not worth the 170€. I use them for everyday use in the city with VERY FEW gentle trails, and I bought them from the official adidas website on 27/10/22. One last thing that may only happen to me, the metal lace loops stick out so much that sometimes the laces of the adjacent shoe get tangled as I walk, resulting in me tripping on flat ground.

Really comfortable shoe, good quality, but it got ruined within 6 months. It's not waterproof at all, not even during a light winter. It let water in and I don't recommend it at all. It's a waste of money. Buy from Adidas, not from any other site, so you won't end up slipping on a banana

One year later, the entire sole opened up..

Very good, a little harder to walk in than a regular sports shoe and generally, take half a size bigger than what you normally wear for it to be comfortable. The sole underneath requires caution on tiles because it slips on wet tiles. Overall, it is warm, keeps you dry, and does not let water pass through at all. I would buy it again, I am generally satisfied

In snow up to the knee and no moisture entered the boot. Comfortable and durable. Buy it with closed eyes.

Tested on Mount Olympus, uphill and downhill, very comfortable and high-quality shoe. Feels like wearing lightweight sneakers. One size larger (at least for me). Tested with rubber, it doesn't let a drop of water pass through. Very good purchase

I have bought 4 pairs. The first one was incomparably the best. The second one was excellent but unlucky... The third one had a very poor fit and was tight, unlike the first ones that followed the exact measurements of Adidas, Columbia, Nike, etc. They are hard (logical) and definitely need silicone insoles (perfect combination), while the fourth one, besides the problematic size (I bought a larger size but clearly it doesn't have the right proportions and it hits me a little...), now has noticeably worse materials and lower construction quality. It's such a shame because it used to be a great shoe, but obviously, they changed the factory and country of production with different soles and machines, as well as worse materials, and it ended up being more expensive for us and garbage on our feet.

WARNING!! The shoes are made for dirt, mountains, and snow. If you are, for example, a city dweller who wants them to keep your feet from getting wet, don't buy them. They slip a lot in the city, especially if you step on any wet marble. You will definitely fall flat on your face :D

I have been using them in off-trail mountains for 3 years and they haven't slipped yet. They haven't broken except for the triangular side pieces that have come off and the front and back tongues that have worn out. They can be fixed with a little glue. I bought them for 80 (one pair was a gift, not for my own use) and for 100, and I am looking to buy 2-3 new pairs to have for the next decade. For the price I found them, they are unbeatable.

Very lightweight, comfortable, beautiful, and powerful! However, be very careful with the size selection. I usually wear a 37.5 and in athletic shoes a 38.5, but after trying all sizes, the 39.5 is perfect for me. Definitely two sizes larger!!!

Quality shoe, look for half a size larger than what you wear, for every day I wear it keeps my foot dry in the water up to the laces, supports the foot in posture and walking, a lot for 160 euros if you find it for 100 to 120 hit it... if I find any negative I will come back...

After 2 and a half years of daily use in a city with hot and cold weather and water, I have to say that they are quality shoes, they have not opened at any point, they are still waterproof, they do not smell inside despite the sweat they have absorbed, of course I ventilate them very well after each use, the sole has worn out in some places from walking more than I expected, the only negative I have found so far... I recommend them if you find them around 100 euros and not 170 euros that they have now...

In the POSITIVES:
1. They are stylish (can be comfortably worn for a casual outing).
2. They are lightweight.
3. They have a truly non-slip sole (perhaps the best I have ever tried)!

In the NEGATIVES:
1. They are quite "hard" and relatively narrow.
2. Their insole is not anatomical - soft, but also "hard".
3. They are "mid-boot", so the ankle fastening is not secure.

In CONCLUSION:
I cannot understand the design concept of this particular shoe. On one hand, it is not a comfortable and warm pair for everyday use. On the other hand, it is not a tall and sturdy pair for extreme use.
I rated it with 3 stars because it is not "bad", but it is not "good" either. Obviously, those who have rated it with 4 or 5 stars do not have the experience from other pairs (e.g. Salomon) of similar price range (~150€).

Excellent construction, very beautiful shoe and truly waterproof. I bought them in the size I usually buy Adidas sports shoes (44) and during a long hike to the top of Mount Athos, they felt somewhat hard and not as comfortable. My feet literally fell apart. If I were to buy them again, I might go for a half size bigger to accommodate insoles. At the price of 104 that I bought them on sale, it was a good purchase, but at 160 I wouldn't buy them.

Since they were unused when I attempted the hike, perhaps the review may not be as authoritative, which is why I will come back in 2 months with an update.

Incredible shoe! The best I've ever had among all (+expensive athletic shoes)! 100% waterproof, incredible comfort (8-12 hours daily use), never slipped anywhere! Ideal height, lightweight. I have no words... I bought it based on previous reviews on skroutz and I didn't regret it at all! The best purchase I've ever made!!!!

I believe it is one of the best that has been released. As soon as I got them, I went straight into the water and not a drop went in. They are incredibly light and warm, with a stable ankle that prevents any sprains. I can say it's one of the best purchases. Well done, adidas

I tried them on a rainy day and on wet roads and indeed they did not let water pass through. It is a true outdoor boot and the sole is made to "dig" into dirt, etc., so it slips a little on tiles at first until it settles... However, I was surprised that the first hooks are closed and not open like the ones on top. With them open and holding the laces tight, you can loop and go and tie them faster... With them closed, it takes a little getting used to...

Awesome shoe..with great durability to wear and tear... waterproof comfortable and when used in the mountains, it has exceptional grip on dirt and climbing.. it's worth buying

Just got the shoes and the first thing I did was try them in water. I dipped them in a basin of water and not a drop passed through, which is why I bought them.

Very good fit on the foot and very lightweight. I got it one size up and it's perfect.
I've had them for 10 days and they're very good. No water gets in when it's raining.
I also took them in the snow and didn't feel anything.
I highly recommend them.
