I had the charger for about 3 days (I got 3 – 1 for a Xiaomi camera, 1 for the Xiaomi hub, and 1 for a TPlink camera) and during this time the cable from the TPlink camera started smoking and smelled burnt. When I looked at the port of the TPlink camera, it was charred and the cable along with the connector had burned, while the camera was off. I tried connecting a different cable from a Samsung phone, but the camera was now dead. The USB charger is not as "smart" as advertised, and it seems that it cannot properly manage the required voltage. It is obviously a cheap Chinese product that can cause fire and damage other devices. In my case, the store where I bought the camera was kind and replaced it under warranty, but if I hadn't been home at that moment to catch it, I don't know if I would have had the same luck with the replacement or if a fire would have broken out.

I left it on the power strip for a day without charging any device, and the cable caught fire (it made the house dirty) and it was open, burned, and smoking. We would have been in danger.
