The Window in Greece is an architectural study, written and assembled in the summer of 1981. It took a full fifteen years to print.
This book is a sibling of the corresponding study The Balcony in Greece, published in 1981, also featuring collages by Akritakis. Akritakis created the collages for both The Balcony and The Window simultaneously, in 1981.
The photographs presented here were taken by the author in 1974 and in the spring of 1975. The line drawings within the text were made by the author.
