  • Stay away from AOC. After one year, a dead pixel appeared, and the company does not offer a replacement. Within three years, the panel burned out, and the monitor went to recycling. The worst company for warranties (at least in Greece). STAY AWAY!!!!

  • It was purchased in July 2020 with high expectations for its quality and durability. However, unfortunately, these four years proved to be excessive for this particular product, as it broke in May 2024.

It is unthinkable to have to replace such a basic and expensive tool so quickly. We are talking about a period of less than four years! Companies should manufacture products that withstand time and everyday use, not something that needs replacement so quickly.

The construction quality seems to not have been as good as advertised, which raises doubts about the company's reliability. When you pay a respectable price for a monitor (I got it for €300), you expect it to last at least five years, if not more. My experience with this product was clearly negative, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for reliable and durable equipment. Never again AOC.

If you want it for gaming, don't buy it. Its response time is terrible, it has crazy ghosting to the point where its 144hz doesn't make sense. The only thing it has going for it is its 2k resolution, but it's not even good for demanding editing because its colors are quite "tampered with" in order to be vibrant. So, generally, a big NO (it's better to spend a little more money on a Samsung G5)

Burned a pixel as soon as I tried it and it makes some flashes like being photographed in games. I believe it should be changed under warranty. Update: After staying without a screen for 10 days, they won't change it under warranty. I will have to buy another one before my eyes get damaged. Never again AOC

I went from a 1080p 60Hz IPS panel to this.
Much deeper blacks. Fast response. Solid construction and quality. The 144Hz frame rate combined with Gsync make videos run like butter.

On the downside, if you play a game that has a lot of black textures, you will see the shadow of black moving slowly compared to the other colors (since it's a VA panel). You can adjust the settings from the menu to minimize this phenomenon, but you will lose image quality, so everyone adjusts it according to their preferences. (I didn't notice this phenomenon in movies)

I haven't used the speakers much, but the sound is definitely not good, it's flat and not particularly loud.

Overall, it's worth its money. VERY GOOD.

In my 4 months, it gave me a vertical line in the middle with stuck-burned pixels. I learned that several others have the same problem and I am not the only case. The funny thing is that while I generally keep receipts and boxes for everything, I can't find any proof for the screen, neither on paper nor in email, to send it back. It's like someone is playing a joke on me.

    Use for 6 months.
Purchased for 285€, excellent value for money.
Nice colors, excellent for gaming (e.g. cod, csgo, battlefield where the 144hz will shine at 100%), easy on the eyes for general computer use, minimal design with gaming elements that we all probably want to look at.
Extremely satisfied 9/10, perfection is never achievable.

Most, if not all, of you who are looking at this screen will probably use it for gaming... Stay away!! The ghosting is insane, I wish I could upload videos I've taken! Even at the lowest overdrive setting, it's a disaster. In a dark place, the white backlight is visible through the screen when something black is displayed.

Owner of the screen for a week. Upgraded from a 24-inch 60Hz monitor, mainly for gaming, so the difference was noticeable. Personally, I don't know much about panels, etc., but what I do know is that now I see things I didn't see before. Definitely need to spend time on the set up. The menu interface is a bit strange, but with the AOC software, the situation is saved. Something worth noting that at least I didn't see anywhere else. The package includes a DP and HDMI cable, and with the cable that comes with it, I managed to have it at 144Hz without needing to get another one.

I got it, guys, for 269 euros... No need to comment because with this amount of money you can't say anything negative...
Actually, most of it has already been said by previous owners... The menu is a bit awkward, but you'll deal with it on the first day, so it's not an issue, plus there's a program that will suit most people.
It definitely needs calibration, especially for me, as I connected it to the Xbox, it needed some tweaking, but the result justifies it...
The stand is stable and beautiful for anyone interested in learning... I don't have much else to say, I'm not an expert or specialist, but for under 300, I won't even discuss it, guys.
I should note that I haven't noticed any backlight bleeding

I chose this monitor since I found it on sale for €253. My transition was from an LG to a 21-inch screen. In short, I felt shocked. Their difference is not huge, it is massive. I have it paired with a 970 and everything is running at full capacity, and I feel like I bought new glasses. All the colors are amazing, and I haven't noticed any backlight bleeding. By far, the best purchase I have made in the last 10 years. All of this is mentioned through the display port at 144hz.

With Freesync enabled, there is excessive flickering in cases where the fps drops to 30 (game menus, loading screens, old games), which is unacceptable for a monitor of this price. On the other hand, with Freesync disabled, you don't notice the screen tearing, but why would you buy a monitor with this technology if you're not going to use it? The colors are very nice, very clear, and you don't notice any ghosting.

I got it for 290€. It's unbelievable for that price.
    The negatives,
-Backlight: I won't say it has particularly dark blacks. Especially when you want to increase the color quality, you have to increase the brightness and the blacks are somewhat bright.
-Backlight Bleeding: Very discreet, difficult to notice without testing it.
-Ghosting: Unfortunately, it exists and it's somewhat noticeable. Especially visible in low brightness and black backgrounds.
    -Uncomfortable menu buttons.
Anything else regarding the screen is superb. It has USB connections at the back for convenience, software for adjustments without the buttons, super colors, brightness that goes to the extreme (I have it at 30% and it still seems too much). Generally, if it didn't have the negatives I mentioned, it would cost 700-800 and we would be in a different category, so you can't say anything. If you want gaming curved and Ultra High Definition, it's probably the best at this price if I'm not mistaken.

Excellent value for money gaming monitor. High contrast and deep blacks, which are the major advantages of VA panels, and ignore whatever you may have read on the internet about its low brightness. I have it set lower than the factory preset because it seemed too bright for me. The conclusions are up to you. The only drawbacks I can point out are a very subtle ghosting in situations where there are very bright objects next to very dark ones in high framerate gaming scenarios (if you're a casual gamer, you probably won't even notice it and it doesn't significantly affect your experience) and a slight backlight bleeding, mainly if you watch low brightness scenes in movies, like thrillers, in gaming you might not encounter it at all. But it's perfectly expected from an affordable gaming monitor and it's not too much in any case. Especially for its price, it's excellent, I highly recommend it.

What some people say about the brightness of the screen during the day, I honestly don't understand.. At the moment I am writing this review, I am in a completely bright space, it's 12:24 and I can see everything crystal clear and bright. Additionally, an edit because someone complained about flickering below 30 fps. Firstly, I, who have gsync with this monitor due to my graphics card, had some problems at the beginning with flickering and blackscreens, which I fully resolved with CRU, with which you can customize your monitor in terms of resolution, Hz, etc. (infinite customization). What I want to say in general is that you encounter small problems with PCs every day. The issue is to have the willingness to solve them and the technical knowledge (which even if you don't have, you acquire). The other alternative is to spend 500+ for Gsync in my case, for the same result with the difference that it will be factory tuned to accept Nvidia gpu.

Very good monitor for its price and quality, definitely VFM! I am very satisfied and would choose it again for both its design and the features it offers at the price it offers (I got it for €290). Curved, which makes you feel like you're in the game, and 27" which is more than enough for an office at a certain distance (I transitioned from 24" and I don't regret it). I recommend it 100%!!!

EDIT: It suddenly had a problem with the image display via HDMI or DP while it had no issues at all. I have to unplug and replug the HDMI port for it to show an image on the screen, which is unacceptable for its price. For this reason, I am reevaluating it with 3/5 stars.

I will not go into detail as there have been notable reviews. You need to calibrate the colors a little to find what suits the space you are in. Overall, I am very satisfied with the image. The curved aspect was unfamiliar at first, but I got used to it in a day. The only negative aspect is the sound. Literally, my mobile phone (Xiaomi, Pocophone f1) has much better and louder sound quality, so it is necessary to equip yourself with a sound system along with the screen.

As the owner of the 2 and more months, I have to say that for users with 1080p screens it is the perfect choice and a very good upgrade! Personally, I bought it for 310 euros but I believe that the price can go down a little more, 20-30 would be just right. In games, it has nice colors and very good viewing angles. It runs smoothly at 144hz, of course, the response time is not 1ms, it is 4ms but it doesn't make that much of a difference (at least for me). The menu has some preset modes for movies, games, reading, internet, etc. However, you can adjust them yourself based on your preference, making it enjoyable even beyond gaming. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the construction. Yes, it has a nice picture and all that, but don't expect a super wow construction for its price. The stand is heavy and stable, but the screen itself is somewhat... plasticky, shall I say? I don't know. Otherwise, it is as I said, a very good choice

I am the owner of this specific monitor for a month now without experiencing any problems. Its base is excellent and overall the monitor is very beautiful with good build quality.
Now, regarding gaming and compared to my second monitor (LG 29WK500-P 75hz ips), the difference in games is significant... there might be minimal ghosting, but it is to such an extent that I do not easily notice it in the games I play (COD, BFV, Assassin's Creed). In the settings, I have selected "strong" for overdrive and Gamma1. What it definitely does not have is the 1ms response time (it is 6-7ms). The colors are quite good, but it has low brightness, which does not bother me because I play in a dark room.
5 stars because I believe that for this price, it is the ideal choice for what it offers.

  • I haven't had it for long, just a month and something. So far, everything is fine, it hasn't had any issues with pixels or lines like other users. I hope it stays this way. It's worth its money and more

Unbelievable screen, the colors are vibrant, the response is lightning-fast. It is one of the best screens that one can find in the market, especially for its price. I recommend it for anyone who wants to upgrade their set up.
