I ordered my 2nd Corded Telephone Device "Panasonic KX-TS560" in Black.
Packaging was good. However, it was not sealed.
Which means it might have been opened by the store (just my assumption) to show it to a customer for advertising/sample/presentation purposes, etc. I don't know. I can't tell.
It's not ideal for a customer to receive an "Unsealed" package.
Now...
The telephone device seems quite good and of good quality in terms of construction.
The buttons of the device are pretty good. They don't require much pressure to press a number or any other button.
The device's settings and menu are relatively simple, but very limited. I expected it to have more features in the menu for customization.
It does not support Speakerphone. However, it doesn't bother me because I don't make phone calls and then put it on speakerphone (if it had it), waiting for the other person to pick up on the other end of the line.
Setting the Time and Date is relatively easy. You only enter the "Day & Month" in the Date. Not the Year.
The screen does not have backlighting. That's good for the battery. But not for someone like me who has the telephone device in a dark room (regardless of having table lamps).
Caller ID recognition is all good. I made a call from my mobile phone to my landline, and everything worked fine.
However, based on the manufacturer's instructions in the instruction booklet, I haven't figured out if the screen will display the "Number" or the phrase "Out of Area" when someone calls you from "Outside Greece". But it doesn't bother me because I haven't made or received any calls from abroad.
Now, when you lift the handset, I believe it has good microphone sensitivity so that even if you whisper, the other person can hear you...
(compared to a cordless phone where the other person can't hear you whispering because you have to speak louder)
I will try at some point to speak to someone and test the volume of my voice to see if they can hear me well even when whispering. Whispering within reasonable limits. Softly spoken, not talking to myself...
Finally, I chose it for purchase purely because of its small dimensions. Because apart from the handset, the whole device is small and convenient. I have it in my office. Not hanging, for example, on a wall.
I shouldn't forget to mention the Ringtone. It has "Off - Low - High".
I set the button to "Low" because I don't want it to be heard throughout the house, only in my room. And the volume for "Low" is actually quite good. I didn't try "High" because I wasn't interested.
And to conclude with the Ringtone... It only has 1 ringtone, the one that comes with the device. It doesn't have a range of tones like some cordless phones where you can choose the one you like. But even the one it has is decent. I'm not crazy about it either.
