It provides protection against a range of waterborne contaminants, with an emphasis on effective removal of volatile organic compounds, chemicals, and cysts, down to 0.6 micron.

Tank
The water is stored in an 11-liter container. Inside the tank, there is an elastic diaphragm resembling a balloon, which is inflated with air at a pressure of 8-10 psi. As the container fills, the air pressure increases and the water is pushed out when the faucet is opened.
