Finally, the arbitrary and subjective identification of the ruling post-war Right with the Nation, the genuine, the "healthy", the "truly Nation", had as a long-term ideological consequence the undermining and deterioration of unifying sentiments, the common psychology, and the self-evident patriotic reflexes that exist in all societies that know how to resolve their internal disagreements without destabilizing the common denominator of their collectivity.
