I have been using it for almost a year now and it runs quite well. I run it together with NVIDIA 1650 Super Tuff Gaming with 2x8 RAM, it has decent speeds for its price but the only downside is the temperature. It doesn't reach the maximum, but it stays at the limits, which some people don't like

I bought it 3 months ago for gaming use, for example (Grim Dawn, Wolcen Lords of Mayhem, Warframe, etc). I write music on Fl studio 20+. I watch movies, edit photos on pxlrX, and edit videos on Blender and Lightworks.

I have the CPU on an Asus PRIME B450M-A II with 2x 16GB RAM Patriot at 3600 MHz.

It hasn't gone above 40/50% usage yet, and the temperatures are perfect with Enermax paste and Enermax ts50 cooler in a Phantex ethoo pro case with 6 140mm Enermax fans.

    It's a CPU from 2017 and it doesn't even realize it's 2021!

Replaced an Fx8350. Superior in every aspect. Just the fact that I don't need to constantly monitor temperatures during gaming is enough... I'm using the cooler I had on my previous processor, a Cryorig H7. The highest temperature is 62C, it can definitely go lower if I adjust the Case/Cpu fans better in the Bios - they operate at 40-50% of their power until 50C. I play games at 1440p (for the past 4 months) where the Fx8350 was struggling, with an Rx480 8Gb - in Shadow of Tomb Raider it was using only 58% of its capabilities (Bottleneck), while the R5 1600AF uses 100%! There is much better performance in image processing and it is more or less noticeable in other office applications. A very good purchase, at 120€. I installed it on an Msi B450M Mortar Max motherboard (also very good).

Very solid processor. It's worth its money for the 130 that I bought it during quarantine, of course, and it is slightly inferior to the 2600. Overall, I didn't have any issues with gaming, I played everything very smoothly without any problems at 1080 60fps with 16gb of RAM and an rx570. Now, in terms of temperature, I was surprised by the stock cooler, which kept the processor below 50 degrees in demanding games like gtarp warzone, etc. In short, it is a very good value-for-money processor, I would even say better than the 3100, just for the 2 extra cores, which make multitasking better

    The processor is a beast.
With a small overclock, it reaches performance levels of 2600 (in essence, it is the same processor with lower clock speeds).
With a 5500XT, it performs very well even in demanding games and tasks. Lately, its price has increased by 10-20 euros compared to the 2600, so I do not recommend it. If it falls below 110 again, it will be the perfect value-for-money processor.

100% value for money for 92 euros (purchased on 17-2-2020). As mentioned in previous reviews, it is essentially the 2600 with lower clocks. With good cooling, it easily reaches its potential (comes with a borderline low-profile Wraith Stealth cooler).
From the AMD website: OPN# YD1600BBAFBOX, which has identical specifications (to the original 1600 14nm) except that it is manufactured on the 12nm process and includes the low-profile Wraith Stealth cooler.

6 cores / 12 threads CPU at a price lower than 100 euros. Whoever you told this to 4 years ago would laugh...

This particular processor has the same architecture (Zen+) as the 2600. It has better IPC, temperatures, and room for overclocking compared to the 1600. In benchmarks, it is slightly behind the 2600. This makes it top in terms of quality/price ratio.

If you find it for 100 euros, I believe there is no other choice.

The processor is very good, perfect for gaming and you can easily edit videos. It is a 6-core with 12 threads, essentially the same as the 2600 but with slightly lower clock speeds. It can be found for around 80 euros internationally, so it is likely that it will have the same price here soon. For this price, it is the budget king processor for 2020. It reaches the performance of the Ryzen 5 2600 and its price in Greece ranges from around €94 to €115. Obviously, it's not worth it at the upper price limit, but at the lower limit, it offers an excellent performance-to-cost ratio.

  • I have been using it for almost a year now and it runs quite well. I run it together with NVIDIA 1650 Super Tuff Gaming with 2x8 RAM, it has decent speeds for its price but the only downside is the temperature. It doesn't reach the maximum, but it stays at the limits, which some people don't like

  • I bought it 3 months ago for gaming use, for example (Grim Dawn, Wolcen Lords of Mayhem, Warframe, etc).

  • The performance is fantastic, it gives the maximum of its abilities. A CPU made for everything: editing, gaming, programming. It is one of the best gems for my new machine!
