    I bought 3 different types of filters of this kind and this particular one failed as it unscrewed during the night resulting in a leak and consequently a flood. Of course, I did not have a pressure reducer installed in the system as the pressure in the network may increase at night. I believe one should be careful in choosing as there are other types (solid without threads)
