How TAC technology works:
TAC consists of special granules that force magnesium, calcium, and bicarbonates to combine into small crystals. Once combined, these crystals detach from the TAC and circulate freely in the water. However, they are now large enough in size to be carried away by the water flow, resulting in them ending up in the drainage system rather than in your appliances or pipes.
It does not soften the water but prevents scale from depositing on your pipes and appliances. It achieves this by transforming the dissolved hardness minerals into harmless and inactive microscopic particles. It is installed at the main water supply of the house, thus protecting and extending the life of all household appliances (water heaters, boilers, burners, kettles, dishwashers, and washing machines, etc.).
