I tried this whisky quite a bit and I find it one-dimensional. It is not as complex as a 15-year-old whisky should be. The aroma, just like their 12-year-old, is low-key and you have to focus for a long time to detect the notes. The taste is very sweet and brings out berries, chocolate, raisin, and plum. But the mouthfeel for me was a bit mediocre without major surprises. The finish is very short, which is not good. I know that Billy Walker had a very mediocre stock at his disposal and it wasn't fully matured, but in the last 2 years he blended his whiskies with a lot of PX. Maybe that's why I don't see much depth in this whisky. It is also excessively sweet, which puts me off many times, even though I generally like sweet drinks, but this one overdid it.

Excellent whiskey! It is definitely the most complex and flavorful whiskey. The best whiskey under €100 on the market!
