    I installed an RCD in an old installation, tested the sockets, one didn't have grounding!!! And all trip at 35 mA so they work properly.

    However, the device cannot measure or give a leakage test below 30 mA. So if you have a faulty RCD at home that trips, for example, at 20 mA, with this device you won't realize it; it only reads if it trips at the expected value, e.g., 30, or if it takes too long to trip, e.g., not at all above 50 or somewhere between 30 and 50. If it trips lower, you can't measure it
