Purchased about five months ago for around €150 and I consider it to be excessively expensive for what it offers.
Let's start with the positives, which include the relatively good range of the device, strong sound that is clear, although it also picks up external noises and opens up, but I prefer it to be quite sensitive rather than "losing things."
Relatively easy to position and use (along with the device for breathing).
Beautiful design and doesn't take up much space.
Another positive is the unit's light, which has a soft and gentle illumination for the baby's room.
Audible notification when the portable device runs out of battery so you can charge it.

Unfortunately, there are more negatives..
There hasn't been a proper study on how to stop the alarm when you pick up the baby and you get a bit confused and end up with an alarm that keeps going off constantly.. if we also consider that it will start going off when the child moves.. so you end up rendering it useless.
The device's battery is a joke.. it doesn't even last 24 hours of use, resulting in you constantly having it plugged in and charging, and if you change rooms, you have to unplug it for a while and then plug it back in to charge again.. (if you don't forget and it starts beeping due to low battery.)
I believe that even with half the price, we could have done the job just fine.. since the breathing control plate (which is why we chose it) is not well-designed to do its job properly.

Whatever it touches, even the slightest, it is very sensitive. You have to close the child's door, otherwise you will hear even your whisper from the living room, thinking that the baby is doing something based on the sound indicator. The breathing monitor has not been used, but from the tests I did, it requires a thin mattress and wood underneath, it is not suitable for slats. Pay attention* it is not suitable for a memory foam mattress, it only says that on the packaging. If someone intends to buy it solely for the monitor, the simple clip that goes on the diaper works better and 100% if something happens, "knock on wood"

It is a quality device but it also has its negative points.
1. After 6 months, the monitoring device completely broke down. They replaced it with a new one (without any hassle, I admit that).
2. The breathing device, which is supposed to reassure you, is the most anxiety-inducing thing. It often sounded false alarms. The baby was sleeping and because it had moved a few centimeters to the side (or not), something wasn't properly detected and it would go off. We were losing half of our lives, waking up both ourselves and the baby. After a while, we completely stopped using it because it simply kept waking us up. I know that it will save you once and that's what you want to avoid, but this is not a way to live.
To make it work properly, you need to have a thin mattress, the sheet spread out completely, and tell the baby not to move here and there! :-D
3. The sound is great, you can hear even the slightest noise. However, it has a constant loud buzzing in its loud mode, which is somewhat tiring.
4. I'm not sure if the thermometer works. I haven't seen anything different from 21-25 degrees Celsius, whether it's winter or summer. I would be sweating, and the baby would be dripping sweat, and it would still show 23 degrees.
