I bought it used from a friend five years ago. I have used it about ten times with long periods of non-use. With one charge, it started a 99 Nissan Almera four times in one day when I had to go to various places and the battery had given up. I have not encountered the slightest problem.

I tried it on a 1.6 diesel engine with a completely damaged battery. The only reason someone should not buy it is that it charges with its own charger. Otherwise, it is a fantastic tool for the car or motorcycle

Initially purchased for starting a motorcycle in case it is needed, but ended up being used for some neighbors whose batteries died. It worked decently on small gasoline vehicles that were tested. Now, I haven't tried it on diesel, but maybe it could handle a small one with low starting amp requirements if it is fully charged.
