I'm laughing at the comments! I ordered it with a risk and said whatever happens! There has never been an easier installation system! Even a housewife can install it! They wrote something about "upas," something about nuts, about lubricant... Guys, it's simple: there are two black rubber pieces with female threads inside the package, we take them ALONE and push one into each hole, all the way in to fit the "groumbouli" they have (one in the comments says "it wobbles" and posted a photo where they put in half :-P), so if the groumbouli doesn't fit, we use pliers from below and pull to push the rubber all the way in, from above you'll only see one hole. Then we place the bases with the silver horns on top that will fit the lid, we screw it almost all the way, we see where the lid will sit (we twist the round part of the base a little to the right and a little to the left depending on where we see that the distance between the two horns is correct for the lid to fit) and we screw it all the way! Then we put the blue ones (optional) and place the lid one hole on each horn! I can't imagine what could go wrong! One writes about the distances in the holes, but even if the distances are small, just twist the round part with the horn a little on each base and that way you increase the distance! And then screw it in permanently.
Γελαω με τα σχόλια! Το παρήγγειλα με ρισκο και λεω οτι γινει! Δεν έχει ξαναυπαρξει πιο ευκολο συστημα εγκατάστασης! Ακόμη και μια νοικοκυρα το βαζει! Κατι για ουπα γραφανε κατι για παξιμάδια , για λιπαντικό... Παιδια ειναι απλο: εχει δυο μαύρα λαστιχενια με θηλυκές βολτες μεσα στη συσκευασία, τα παιρνουμε ΜΟΝΑ τους και τα χωνουμε ενα σε καθε τρύπα, τερμα μεσα να μπει και το "γρουμπουλι" που έχουν (μια στα σχολια λεει "κουνιεται" και εχει ανεβάσει φωτο που εχει βαλει το μισο :-P) , λοιπον αν δε μπαινει το γρουμπουλι βαζουμε πενσα απο κατω και τραβαμε να τερματισει το λαστιχενιο , απο πανω θα βλεπεις μονο μια τρυπα. Μετα τοποθετούμε πανω σε αυτά τις βασεις με το ασημενιο κερατο που θα κουμπωσει το καπακι, βιδώνουμε σχεδον τερμα, βλεπουμε που θα κατσει το καπακι (στριβουμε το στρογγυλό της βασης λιγο δεξια λιγο αριστερά αναλογα που βλέπουμε οτι η απόσταση στα δυο κέρατα ειναι σωστή για να εφαρμοση το καπακι) και βιδώνουμε τερμα! Μετα βαζουμε τα μπλε (προαιρετικά) και βαζουμε το καπακι μια τρυπα σε καθε κερατο! Δε μπορω να φανταστώ τι μπορει να παει στραβα! Μια γραφει για τις αποστάσεις στις τρυπες, μα και μικρές να ναι οι αποστασεις απλα στριψε το στρογγυλο με το κερατο λιγο σε καθε βαση και ετσι μεγαλώνεις την αποσταση! Και μετα βιδωσε οριστικα.
It has a system for easy installation, with screws that, when tightened, increase the diameter of the rubber that enters the two holes of the toilet bowl and supposedly tighten it. Unfortunately, even when fully tightened, because it relies on rubbers, it cannot be properly stabilized and moves out of place (front-back and right-left). It would be better if it had regular screws, even if I had to bend down for the installation. What's even worse is that in the upright 90° position, the spring of the soft-close mechanism pushes the seat only slightly, causing it to fall. That is, it must be installed in such a way that when the lid and seat are raised, they have a much greater angle, over 90°, which may not be possible in all toilets. Even if you manage to install it at an angle greater than 90°, it will soon move out of place due to the first problem I mentioned. The only positives are that it is made of bakelite (although not the entire thickness is solid material) and there are diagrams with all its dimensions available on the internet.
Update 2025: I finally installed an EBIOP lid of the same shape. It is a heavier construction, thicker, also made of bakelite, without soft-close, but with classic screws and bolts, so it was secured perfectly and does not move even a millimeter. Unfortunately, it costs three times as much.
Έχει σύστημα για εύκολη τοποθέτηση, με βίδες που όταν τις βιδώνεις, αυξάνουν την διάμετρο στο λάστιχο που εισέρχεται στις δύο τρύπες τις λεκάνης και υποτίθεται ότι σφίγγει. Δυστυχώς, ακόμη και με πλήρες σφίξιμο, επειδή βασίζεται σε λάστιχα, δεν μπορεί να σταθεροποιηθεί σωστά και φεύγει από την θέση του (μπροστά-πίσω και δεξιά-αριστερά). Καλύτερα να είχε κανονικές βίδες, κι ας έπρεπε να σκύψω για την τοποθέτηση. Το ακόμη χειρότερο είναι ότι σε όρθια θέση 90°, το ελατήριο του μηχανισμού για το ομαλό κλείσιμο, ωθεί ελάχιστα το κάθισμα με αποτέλεσμα να πέφτει. Δηλαδή, θα πρέπει να τοποθετηθεί με τέτοιο τρόπο, ώστε όταν είναι σηκωμένα το καπάκι και το κάθισμα, να έχουν αρκετά μεγαλύτερη γωνία, πάνω από 90°, που ίσως να μην είναι δυνατό σε όλες τις λεκάνες. Ακόμη και αν καταφέρετε να το τοποθετήσετε σε γωνία μεγαλύτερη από 90°, σύντομα να φύγει από την θέση του εξαιτίας του πρώτου προβλήματος που ανέφερα. Τα μόνα θετικά είναι ότι είναι από βακελίτη (αν και δεν είναι γεμάτο όλο το πάχος από υλικό) και υπάρχουν σχεδιαγράμματα με όλες τις διαστάσεις του στο internet.
Ενημέρωση 2025: Τελικά έβαλα καπάκι της ΕΒΙΟΠ που υπάρχει σε ίδιο σχήμα. Είναι πιο βαριά κατασκευή, πιο χοντρό, επίσης από βακελίτη, χωρίς soft-close, αλλά με κλασικές βίδες και μπουλόνια, οπότε στερεώθηκε άψογα και δεν κουνιέται ούτε χιλιοστό. Δυστυχώς είναι σε 3πλάσια τιμή.

For its price, it's ok. I agree with those who have mentioned problematic silicone plugs and short screws. The lid moves quite a bit. I will try longer screws and nuts to tighten it in place. Για τα λεφτά του οκ. Θα συμφωνήσω με όσους έχουν πει για προβληματικά ουπα από σιλικόνη και κοντές βίδες. Το καπάκι κουνιέται αρκετά . θα δοκιμάσω πιο μακριές βίδες και παξιμάδια για να σφίξει στη θέση του . Επίσης , σε μένα δεν κλείνει τελείως το κάλυμμα. The bad reviews are nonsense! "The lid closes slowly," they say! The mechanism is simple; if you have a problem and start thinking you need other gaskets and nuts as I read, it means you're doing something wrong, check the instructions (e.g., one of the many reviews here with a description).

As previous reviewers mentioned, the rubber nuts included in the package to tighten the lid to the toilet bowl are problematic and ultimately useless. It's better to use washers with a different nut. The lid closes slowly but that's okay, it's a minor issue. The construction material is quite good. Also, the design in the photo is different.

The screws provided to secure the lid are useless. You can't stabilize the lid on the toilet bowl at all.

Easy to install. Fits perfectly in the bowls holes. Can be adjusted easily. Easiest fitting of a toilet seat I've ever done.
- The cover does not have the width mentioned in the description and in the technical brochure of the importer. The correct width is 344 mm and not 360. The lid has a width of 355 mm.
- The buttons for removing the cover (see 1st photo) are poorly assembled and ready to come off their position.
- The expansion screws for fastening do not work well; there is an issue with the proper placement and fastening of the cover.
- Regarding the material "duroplast" as mentioned in the description and on the merchants' websites. Duroplast is a composite material based on thermosetting plastic which is reinforced with fibers. In the packaging of the product I purchased, it states that the material is thermosetting plastic, but nowhere is the term duroplast mentioned or that it is some composite material. However, there are sources on the internet where the term duroplast is an alternative to thermosetting plastic. This does not only apply to this product; it applies to most that are made of thermosetting plastic, which is also referred to as "bakelite." Generally, however, the feel of the material is good, definitely more quality than covers made of simple plastic.
As a conclusion, if the dimensions suit you and you want soft close, for the cost it might be a good purchase, the release buttons are an issue.
A few words about Bormann. It seems to be a "umbrella" brand of Greek invention, which has gathered a huge variety of products underneath it, which are not of original design and are most likely offered by other brands both in Greece and in other parts of the world. I have no issue with Bormann; I have not had the chance to purchase any product and some products may indeed be very good. The problem is that the brand is marketed as German, with the "German" name and the German flag in the logo. I believe this is a marketing exaggeration, not to say misleading, because there is no evidence that Bormann has any connection to German expertise or German manufacturing quality.
- Το κάλυμμα δεν έχει το πλάτος που αναφέρεται στην περιγραφή και στο τεχνικό φυλλάδιο του εισαγωγέα. Το σωστό πλάτος είναι 344 χιλ. και όχι 360. Το καπάκι έχει πλάτος 355 χιλ.
- Τα κουμπιά για την αφαίρεση του καλύμματος (βλέπε 1η φωτό) είναι κακώς συναρμολογημένα και έτοιμα να φύγουν από τη θέση τους.
- Οι βίδες εκτόνωσης για τη στερέωση δεν δουλεύουν καλά, είναι πρόβλημα η σωστή τοποθέτηση και στερέωση του καλύμματος.
- Σχετικά με το υλικό "duroplast" όπως αναφέρεται στην περιγραφή αλλά και στα site των εμπόρων. Το duroplast είναι ένα σύνθετο υλικό (composite material) βασιζόμενο σε θερμοσκληρυνόμενο πλαστικό το οποίο είναι ενισχυμένο με ίνες. Στη συσκευασία του προϊόντος που αγόρασα, αναφέρεται ότι το υλικό είναι θερμοσκληρυνόμενο πλαστικό, πουθενά όμως δεν αναφέρεται ο όρος duroplast ή ότι είναι κάποιο σύνθετο υλικό. Υπάρχουν ωστόσο και πηγές στο διαδίκτυο όπου ο όρος duroplast είναι εναλλακτικός του θερμοσκληρυνόμενου πλαστικού. Δεν ισχύει μόνο για αυτό το προϊόν, ισχύει για τα περισσότερα που είναι από θερμοσκληρυνόμενο πλαστικό, που το ονομάζουν και "βακελίτη". Γενικά όμως η αίσθηση του υλικού είναι καλή, σίγουρα πιο ποιοτική από τα καλύμματα από απλό πλαστικό.
Σαν συμπέρασμα, αν σας κάνουν οι διαστάσεις και θέλετε και soft close, για το κόστος του ίσως είναι μια καλή αγορά, τα κουμπιά απασφάλισης είναι ένα θέμα.

Δεν έχω κανένα θέμα με τη Bormann, δεν έχει τύχει να αγοράσω κάποιο προϊόν και πραγματικά μπορεί κάποια προϊόντα να είναι πολύ καλά. Το πρόβλημα είναι ότι η φίρμα προβάλλεται ως γερμανική, με το "γερμανικό" όνομα αλλά και τη γερμανική σημαία στο λογότυπο. Πιστεύω ότι πρόκειται για υπερβολές του μάρκετινγκ, για να μην πω για παραπλάνηση, γιατί δεν υπάρχει κανένα στοιχείο που να αποδεικνύει ότι η Bormann έχει κάποια σχέση με γερμανική τεχνογνωσία ή γερμανική ποιότητα κατασκευής.

I'm laughing at the comments! I ordered it with a risk and said whatever happens! There has never been an easier installation system! Even a housewife can install it! They wrote something about "upas," something about nuts, about lubricant... Guys, it's simple: there are two black rubber pieces with female threads inside the package, we take them ALONE and push one into each hole, all the way in to fit the "groumbouli" they have (one in the comments says "it wobbles" and posted a photo where they put in half :-P), so if the groumbouli doesn't fit, we use pliers from below and pull to push the rubber all the way in, from above you'll only see one hole. Then we place the bases with the silver horns on top that will fit the lid, we screw it almost all the way, we see where the lid will sit (we twist the round part of the base a little to the right and a little to the left depending on where we see that the distance between the two horns is correct for the lid to fit) and we screw it all the way! Then we put the blue ones (optional) and place the lid one hole on each horn! I can't imagine what could go wrong! One writes about the distances in the holes, but even if the distances are small, just twist the round part with the horn a little on each base and that way you increase the distance! And then screw it in permanently.
Γελαω με τα σχόλια! Το παρήγγειλα με ρισκο και λεω οτι γινει! Δεν έχει ξαναυπαρξει πιο ευκολο συστημα εγκατάστασης! Ακόμη και μια νοικοκυρα το βαζει! Κατι για ουπα γραφανε κατι για παξιμάδια , για λιπαντικό... Μετα τοποθετούμε πανω σε αυτά τις βασεις με το ασημενιο κερατο που θα κουμπωσει το καπακι, βιδώνουμε σχεδον τερμα, βλεπουμε που θα κατσει το καπακι (στριβουμε το στρογγυλό της βασης λιγο δεξια λιγο αριστερά αναλογα που βλέπουμε οτι η απόσταση στα δυο κέρατα ειναι σωστή για να εφαρμοση το καπακι) και βιδώνουμε τερμα! Μετα βαζουμε τα μπλε (προαιρετικά) και βαζουμε το καπακι μια τρυπα σε καθε κερατο! Δε μπορω να φανταστώ τι μπορει να παει στραβα! Μια γραφει για τις αποστάσεις στις τρυπες, μα και μικρές να ναι οι αποστασεις απλα στριψε το στρογγυλο με το κερατο λιγο σε καθε βαση και ετσι μεγαλώνεις την αποσταση! Και μετα βιδωσε οριστικα.

Unfortunately, even when fully tightened, because it relies on rubbers, it cannot be properly stabilized and moves out of place (front-back and right-left). It would be better if it had regular screws, even if I had to bend down for the installation. What's even worse is that in the upright 90° position, the spring of the soft-close mechanism pushes the seat only slightly, causing it to fall. That is, it must be installed in such a way that when the lid and seat are raised, they have a much greater angle, over 90°, which may not be possible in all toilets. Even if you manage to install it at an angle greater than 90°, it will soon move out of place due to the first problem I mentioned. The only positives are that it is made of bakelite (although not the entire thickness is solid material) and there are diagrams with all its dimensions available on the internet.
Update 2025: I finally installed an EBIOP lid of the same shape. It is a heavier construction, thicker, also made of bakelite, without soft-close, but with classic screws and bolts, so it was secured perfectly and does not move even a millimeter. Unfortunately, it costs three times as much.

Καλύτερα να είχε κανονικές βίδες, κι ας έπρεπε να σκύψω για την τοποθέτηση. Το ακόμη χειρότερο είναι ότι σε όρθια θέση 90°, το ελατήριο του μηχανισμού για το ομαλό κλείσιμο, ωθεί ελάχιστα το κάθισμα με αποτέλεσμα να πέφτει. Δηλαδή, θα πρέπει να τοποθετηθεί με τέτοιο τρόπο, ώστε όταν είναι σηκωμένα το καπάκι και το κάθισμα, να έχουν αρκετά μεγαλύτερη γωνία, πάνω από 90°, που ίσως να μην είναι δυνατό σε όλες τις λεκάνες. Ακόμη και αν καταφέρετε να το τοποθετήσετε σε γωνία μεγαλύτερη από 90°, σύντομα να φύγει από την θέση του εξαιτίας του πρώτου προβλήματος που ανέφερα. Τα μόνα θετικά είναι ότι είναι από βακελίτη (αν και δεν είναι γεμάτο όλο το πάχος από υλικό) και υπάρχουν σχεδιαγράμματα με όλες τις διαστάσεις του στο internet.
Ενημέρωση 2025: Τελικά έβαλα καπάκι της ΕΒΙΟΠ που υπάρχει σε ίδιο σχήμα. Είναι πιο βαριά κατασκευή, πιο χοντρό, επίσης από βακελίτη, χωρίς soft-close, αλλά με κλασικές βίδες και μπουλόνια, οπότε στερεώθηκε άψογα και δεν κουνιέται ούτε χιλιοστό. Δυστυχώς είναι σε 3πλάσια τιμή.

The bad reviews are nonsense! "The lid closes slowly," they say! The mechanism is simple; if you have a problem and start thinking you need other gaskets and nuts as I read, it means you're doing something wrong, check the instructions (e.g., one of the many reviews here with a description).

As previous reviewers mentioned, the rubber nuts included in the package to tighten the lid to the toilet bowl are problematic and ultimately useless. It's better to use washers with a different nut. The lid closes slowly but that's okay, it's a minor issue. The construction material is quite good. Also, the design in the photo is different.

Easy to install. Fits perfectly in the bowls holes. Can be adjusted easily. Easiest fitting of a toilet seat I've ever done.
- The cover does not have the width mentioned in the description and in the technical brochure of the importer. The correct width is 344 mm and not 360. The lid has a width of 355 mm.
- The buttons for removing the cover (see 1st photo) are poorly assembled and ready to come off their position.
- The expansion screws for fastening do not work well; there is an issue with the proper placement and fastening of the cover.
- Regarding the material "duroplast" as mentioned in the description and on the merchants' websites. Duroplast is a composite material based on thermosetting plastic which is reinforced with fibers. In the packaging of the product I purchased, it states that the material is thermosetting plastic, but nowhere is the term duroplast mentioned or that it is some composite material. However, there are sources on the internet where the term duroplast is an alternative to thermosetting plastic. This does not only apply to this product; it applies to most that are made of thermosetting plastic, which is also referred to as "bakelite." Generally, however, the feel of the material is good, definitely more quality than covers made of simple plastic.
As a conclusion, if the dimensions suit you and you want soft close, for the cost it might be a good purchase, the release buttons are an issue.
A few words about Bormann. It seems to be a "umbrella" brand of Greek invention, which has gathered a huge variety of products underneath it, which are not of original design and are most likely offered by other brands both in Greece and in other parts of the world. I have no issue with Bormann; I have not had the chance to purchase any product and some products may indeed be very good. The problem is that the brand is marketed as German, with the "German" name and the German flag in the logo. I believe this is a marketing exaggeration, not to say misleading, because there is no evidence that Bormann has any connection to German expertise or German manufacturing quality.

Το duroplast είναι ένα σύνθετο υλικό (composite material) βασιζόμενο σε θερμοσκληρυνόμενο πλαστικό το οποίο είναι ενισχυμένο με ίνες. Στη συσκευασία του προϊόντος που αγόρασα, αναφέρεται ότι το υλικό είναι θερμοσκληρυνόμενο πλαστικό, πουθενά όμως δεν αναφέρεται ο όρος duroplast ή ότι είναι κάποιο σύνθετο υλικό. Υπάρχουν ωστόσο και πηγές στο διαδίκτυο όπου ο όρος duroplast είναι εναλλακτικός του θερμοσκληρυνόμενου πλαστικού. Δεν ισχύει μόνο για αυτό το προϊόν, ισχύει για τα περισσότερα που είναι από θερμοσκληρυνόμενο πλαστικό, που το ονομάζουν και "βακελίτη". Γενικά όμως η αίσθηση του υλικού είναι καλή, σίγουρα πιο ποιοτική από τα καλύμματα από απλό πλαστικό.
Σαν συμπέρασμα, αν σας κάνουν οι διαστάσεις και θέλετε και soft close, για το κόστος του ίσως είναι μια καλή αγορά, τα κουμπιά απασφάλισης είναι ένα θέμα.

Απ'ότι φαίνεται είναι μια μάρκα "ομπρέλλα" ελληνικής επινόησης, που από κάτω της έχει μαζέψει μια τεράστια ποικιλία προϊόντων, που βέβαια δεν είναι αυθεντικής σχεδίασης και που κατά πάσα πιθανότατα προσφέρονται και από άλλες μάρκες και στην Ελλάδα αλλά και σε άλλα μέρη του κόσμου. Δεν έχω κανένα θέμα με τη Bormann, δεν έχει τύχει να αγοράσω κάποιο προϊόν και πραγματικά μπορεί κάποια προϊόντα να είναι πολύ καλά. Το πρόβλημα είναι ότι η φίρμα προβάλλεται ως γερμανική, με το "γερμανικό" όνομα αλλά και τη γερμανική σημαία στο λογότυπο. Πιστεύω ότι πρόκειται για υπερβολές του μάρκετινγκ, για να μην πω για παραπλάνηση, γιατί δεν υπάρχει κανένα στοιχείο που να αποδεικνύει ότι η Bormann έχει κάποια σχέση με γερμανική τεχνογνωσία ή γερμανική ποιότητα κατασκευής.
It doesn't stabilize easily, it troubled me and eventually I changed the holding mechanism with my own screws and butterfly. The seat, however, is good and durable.
Δεν σταθεροποιειται ευκολα, με παιδεψε και τελικα αλλαξα τον μηχανισμο συγκρατησης με δικες μου βιδες και πεταλουδα.
Το καθισμα ομως ειναι καλο και ανθεκτικο.
The installation is easy. Adjusting it and maintaining the desired setting is difficult. The build quality is good and it is recommended if it fits the profile of your toilet.
H τοποθέτηση του είνα εύκολη. Η ρύθμιση του και η διατήρηση της επιθυμητής ρύθμισης δύσκολη. Καλή η ποιότητα κατασκευής και προτείνεται αν ταιριάζει στο προφίλ της τουαλέτας σας.

3. Installation was ok, I had no issue with the silicone screws, it seems stable for now, time will tell how long it lasts.
I installed it because I had to replace the previous one, overall a low budget lid with nothing different from the low budget ones you can find anywhere.
1. Είναι πιο μικρό από τις διαστάσεις που αναγράφονται και δεν έχει καμία σχέση με τις φωτό.
2. Soft close δεν το λες..
3. Τοποθέτηση οκ, δεν είχα θέμα με τις βίδες σιλικόνης, φαίνεται σταθερό προς το παρόν, θα δείξει πόσο θα κρατήσει.
Το τοποθέτησα γιατί έπρεπε να αλλάξω το προηγούμενο, γενικά ένα low budget καπάκι με όχι κάτι διαφορετικό από τα low budget που μπορείς να βρεις οπουδήποτε.
I am buying it for the second time. With the first one, after 2-3 months, the lid would fall normally. We will see with this one. Simple toilet lid. Good quality material.
Το παίρνω για την δεύτερη φορά. Στο πρώτο μετά από 2-3 μήνες έπεφτε το καπάκι κανονικά. Εδώ θα δούμε. Απλό καπάκι τουαλέτες. Καλής ποιότητας υλικό.
The screws with the rubber are useless, they don't work at all. I shouldn't have bought it and I saw several reviews that had problems with the screws but I trusted the many positive ratings. You will be forced to buy screws with washers, otherwise it will be very loose. Stay away, bad purchase
Οι βίδες με το λάστιχο άχρηστες δεν κάνουν με τπτ κακός το αγόρασα και είδα αρκετές κριτικές που είχαν πρόβλημα με τις βίδες αλλά πίστεψα στις πολλές αξιολογήσεις. θα αναγκαστείτε να αγοράσετε βίδες με ροδέλες αλλιώς θα παίζει πάρα πολύ. Μακριά κακή αγορά
For its price, it's ok. I agree with those who have mentioned problematic silicone plugs and short screws. The lid moves quite a bit. I will try longer screws and nuts to tighten it in place. Also, for me, the cover does not close completely. Yes, the soft close works fine, but it leaves a small gap. For 15€, what did I expect?
Για τα λεφτά του οκ. Θα συμφωνήσω με όσους έχουν πει για προβληματικά ουπα από σιλικόνη και κοντές βίδες. Το καπάκι κουνιέται αρκετά . θα δοκιμάσω πιο μακριές βίδες και παξιμάδια για να σφίξει στη θέση του . Επίσης , σε μένα δεν κλείνει τελείως το κάλυμμα. Ναι μεν το soft close κομπλέ, αλλά αφήνει ένα μικρό κενό . Για 15€ τι περίμενα;
