I had to change the format to ntfs because my TVs couldn't read it. No problems on PCs. In terms of capacity, I have 58g to 64g. I have noticed that the recording times vary for the same gigabytes, so I won't comment on that. It's not slow, but it's not lightning fast either. Overall, due to the brand reputation and price, I recommend it. I also ordered another one. The use I make of it is for backing up movies and documents.
