It takes a little experimentation until it gives the optimal result. For the home espresso machine that I use, the best result I saw was at 18-20 seconds of grinding per 15-16 grams of coffee, with a pause at 14-15 seconds for stirring (to remove the coffee that sticks to the walls).
At 25 seconds, the coffee was too finely ground for my machine, but it might be okay for a non-pressurized portafilter.

Vfm, I now only buy beans and so I have a more economical and fresher coffee. Good build quality, consistent grinding every time, for my espresso machine I use 30g for 15 seconds. The downside is that it only holds 30g of coffee if you don't want to burn it and lose the coffee on top, the 70g it claims is an exaggeration. For its price, it's perfect.
Edit: In the 6-month period with continuous use for all the coffees I drink (and there are many, but I make sure to grind once a week), the performance has not decreased at all, it is easily cleaned with a brush that I have specifically for this reason and everything is perfect. Definitely VFM.
