Description

The installation of woofers in factory positions limited by reduced depth is a recurring problem. The Cento F flat woofer from the Cento line is the solution, thanks to an extremely thin basket with reduced depth that allows proper placement even in the most problematic scenarios. The R&D team managed to achieve high performance by optimizing the excursion of the moving assembly and the new design of the cone geometry. The use of SPP-M (Semi-Pressed Paper-Mica) gives the C 165 F a lightweight and rigid cone that guarantees high performance and extended frequency response.

    Plasma sensitivity at 1 watt per meter for both the tweeters and the 6.5-inch speakers. Overall, they fail to transform the poor sound of the factory system into something significantly better, both in terms of volume and frequency separation. They were not connected to an external amplifier, but this does not affect the comment on sensitivity. Obviously, increasing the wattage will also increase the volume. The 3 dB booster in the crossover simply increases the easily guided highs, creating an imbalance between the midrange and high frequencies, which is very difficult to control with a compatible (factory) equalizer. In any case, the volume does not double uniformly. (As known, a 3 dB increase requires a doubling of power). They are very expensive for what they are supposed to offer.
