Once upon a time, there was a king who, from the moment he was a child, could never say "no" to anyone. He always wanted to please everyone. So he said "yes" to whatever they asked. Because of all the "yeses," everyone called him King Yes Yes. King Yes Yes was perhaps the only king in the world without a crown or a scepter. – How beautiful it is! admired one day a courtier of his, who was a collector of precious objects. Will you give them to me, Your Majesty? he dared to ask. – Well... yes! answered the king. From that day on, the king wore instead of a crown a tall hat with a cuckoo inside, which would come out every now and then and tell the time. Instead of a scepter, he held an old cane that once belonged to his great-great-grandfather. And well, his subjects got used to the image of their king; however, every time the representative of a foreign country visited him, Yes Yes had to make a great effort before he was taken seriously... And the "yeses" never ended!
