Here I fulfill my intention to write a book on the subject of "The Seven Rays." This topic has always held genuine interest for students; however, not much is known about these rays.

We know from the "Secret Doctrine" that they are the structural Forces and the sum of all that exists in the manifested universe, but their effect on the human kingdom and their essential quality and nature remain a mystery until now.

It will be necessary for me to avoid the cosmic tone, if I may call it that, because I seek to ensure that the information has practical value for the student and the discerning reader. Therefore, I will approach the subject entirely from the perspective of the human family and will discuss it in terms of psychological values, laying the foundations for that new psychology which is greatly needed, thus primarily addressing the human equation.

What I have to say will be a commentary on an extension of the words found in the preamble of the "Secret Doctrine," that "All Souls are one with the Oversoul."
