    I have not yet managed to properly charge a 12v battery. The main problem I am facing is that the charging system raises the voltage above the desired limits. Specifically, when set above “level 5”, the voltage exceeds 14.7V and within a few minutes reached up to 15.3V, at which point I stopped the process for safety reasons.

    Based on the data for 12V lead-acid batteries, the charging voltage under normal conditions should range approximately between 14.4V and 14.8V, while higher values can lead to overcharging, gas production, and possible battery damage.

    For this reason, I am considering the option of using a suitable voltage regulator, which can properly manage both the voltage and the current (V & A), in order to ensure stable and safe charging without exceeding the limits.

    The goal is to find a solution that keeps the voltage within safe levels and allows efficient charging without negatively affecting the battery's lifespan.

    In GEL batteries, it would go up in voltage until it reached around 15v (about 4.4A) and you could hear bubbles inside. You would have to bake/dry the GEL batteries since they require less voltage. Since it doesn't have a button for the battery type, it requires manual oversight to not exceed the manufacturer's specs... for example, if the manufacturer gives a max charge voltage of 14.6, you should be above it to avoid any mishaps.

    In lithium (lifepo4) with 30% charge, it gave up to 7.6 Amps max (from 13.1 it went to 13.2v) with the regulator at maximum.

    At the time it was giving 7.6 Amps (measured with the amperemeter), its own indicator was showing around 25 hahaha... well, it's all over the place... The 50A it claims to have definitely doesn't exist and it's misleadingly sold as 50A. It's deceptive.
