    They are mainly used for gardening and construction tasks. They have a good grip, and the protection they provide is satisfactory, especially against impacts and hits from, for example, a hammer, but not from a wheel (there, I don't know of any work gloves that provide protection but also have a good grip at the same time). After a lot of heavy use, the thumb of the left hand tore. However, I can't say that they didn't earn their money.
