It was tested and then I tried a competitive product from another company. I found it to do slightly better job in softening clothes than the salts. Also, the clothes had a better smell (the smell that is created by damp fabrics in the washing machine until they are washed, like wet socks, towels, etc.), but this is due to the specific composition of the green gel instead of the blue one. It eliminates all odors inside the washing machine.

I deduct one star because of its price. I consider it expensive for only 15 doses.

The best! Besides being anti-scale, it provides hygienic cleanliness to the washing machine drum and a nice scent to the clothes!

Cleanliness and scent (light). Personally, I prefer it over the blue Calgon. Sometimes, even though the clothes were freshly washed, they had a smell and so did the washing machine, but not anymore.
