Guys, it's a very good microphone for getting your job done, up to a point....the sound quality is decent, you can work with it and with a little tweaking in post, you can achieve good results, without having to spend 100+ € for a very good microphone....the positives also include the option of 0db and -10db and its very long cable, which is really helpful...the negatives are that (of course, at this price) its construction is not the best...for example, the on/off and 0/-10db switches started to loosen after just 3 days of use...but overall, I believe it's worth it, don't think twice, I don't know of a better product in this category.
UPDATE: after 3 uses, it started having problems...from what I understood, it's a grounding issue...don't buy it, it's not worth it...I bought another one for 16€ and it's crystal clear.
Παιδιά είναι ένα πολύ καλό μικροφωνάκι για να κανεις την δουλειά σου, μέχρι εκεί, ....είναι αξιοπρεπέστατος ο ήχος του, μπορείς να το δουλέψεις και με λίγο φτιάξιμο στο post, να έχεις ένα καλό αποτέλεσμα , χωρίς να χρειαστεί να δώσεις 100+ € για ένα πολύ καλό μικρόφωνο....στα θετικά επίσης είναι η επιλογή 0db και -10db και το πολύ μακρύ του καλώδιο,το οποίο πραγματικά είναι σωτηρία...στα αρνητικά είναι ότι (φυσικά σε αυτη την τιμή) η κατασκευή του δεν είναι και η καλύτερη...για παράδειγμα τα switch του on/off και 0/-10db άρχισαν να χαλαρώνουν ήδη μετά από 3 μέρες χρήσης...σε γενικές γραμμές όμως πιστεύω ότι αξίζει μην το σκέφτεστε, δεν γνωρίζω κάποιο καλύτερο προϊόν σε αυτή την κατηγορία.
UPDATE : μετά από 3 φορές χρήσης άρχισε να βγάζει προβλήματα...από ότι κατάλαβα είναι θέμα γείωσης ...μη το πάρετε δεν αξίζει...πήρα ένα άλλο με 16€ και είναι πεντακάθαρο.

I ended up with this one because from various reviews I saw (where they provided audio samples), I concluded that on the one hand there is no difference in performance between the two (so the 30 euro price difference is not justified), on the other hand the Boya has a 6-meter cable, while the Rhode has only one meter. Also, the Rhode lavalier does not work with mobile phones and cameras, it requires an adapter.
So, the Boya is plug and play. Basically, you just need to remove a plastic piece that the battery has on top. This is only for the first time. It is a battery protector (you have surely encountered it in other devices) and then switch the button to the camera option (if you are working with a camera). Obviously, it is much better than the internal microphone of the camera that I use. Surely you will now tell me that comparing an internal microphone with an external lapel microphone that is 20 centimeters away from the mouth is unfair (I won't disagree). I just want to add that with this purchase, I had concerns about the Razer Seiren x (which I recently bought for voice overs), which cost around 100 euros (the Razer connects with USB for those who know). I believe that the result of the Boya is very close to that of the Razer, but at one-third of the price.
It is a must-have and at the same time an economical upgrade (compared to the competition) that is aimed at those who make videos with speech, either with mobile phones or with a camera. Especially for vlogging, YouTube, etc. The only issue (if I would even call it an issue) is that it is an individual tool, but this obviously applies to all lapel microphones.
Finally, I have no complaints about this product, it does what it promises and it does it better than I expected. I would say I am excited...

(σίγουρα το έχετε συναντήσει και σε άλλες συσκευές) και να γυρίσεις τον διακόπτη στην επιλογή camera (αν δουλεύεις με camera). Προφανώς είναι πολυ καλύτερο απο το εσωτερικό μικρόφωνο της κάμερας που χρησιμοποιώ. Σίγουρα θα μου πείτε τώρα, είναι άδικη η σύγκριση ενος εσωτερικού μικροφώνου με ένα εξωτερικό πέτου που βρίσκεται 20 εκατοστά απο το στόμα (δεν θα διαφωνήσω). Ειδικά σε vlogging, youtube κτλ. Το μόνο θέμα (αν θα το έλεγα θέμα κιόλας) είναι πως είναι ένα ατομικό εργαλείο, αλλα αυτό ισχύει για όλα τα μικρόφωνα πέτου προφανώς.
Τέλος δεν έχω κανένα παράπανο απο το συγκεκριμένο προιόν κάνει αυτό που υπόσχεται και το κάνει καλύτερα από όσο περίμενα. Θα έλεγα πως είμαι ενθουσιασμένος...

Guys, it's a very good microphone for getting your job done, up to a point....the sound quality is decent, you can work with it and with a little tweaking in post, you can achieve good results, without having to spend 100+ € for a very good microphone....the positives also include the option of 0db and -10db and its very long cable, which is really helpful...the negatives are that (of course, at this price) its construction is not the best...for example, the on/off and 0/-10db switches started to loosen after just 3 days of use...but overall, I believe it's worth it, don't think twice, I don't know of a better product in this category.
UPDATE: after 3 uses, it started having problems...from what I understood, it's a grounding issue...don't buy it, it's not worth it...I bought another one for 16€ and it's crystal clear.
Παιδιά είναι ένα πολύ καλό μικροφωνάκι για να κανεις την δουλειά σου, μέχρι εκεί, ....είναι αξιοπρεπέστατος ο ήχος του, μπορείς να το δουλέψεις και με λίγο φτιάξιμο στο post, να έχεις ένα καλό αποτέλεσμα , χωρίς να χρειαστεί να δώσεις 100+ € για ένα πολύ καλό μικρόφωνο....στα θετικά επίσης είναι η επιλογή 0db και -10db και το πολύ μακρύ του καλώδιο,το οποίο πραγματικά είναι σωτηρία...στα αρνητικά είναι ότι (φυσικά σε αυτη την τιμή) η κατασκευή του δεν είναι και η καλύτερη...για παράδειγμα τα switch του on/off και 0/-10db άρχισαν να χαλαρώνουν ήδη μετά από 3 μέρες χρήσης...σε γενικές γραμμές όμως πιστεύω ότι αξίζει μην το σκέφτεστε, δεν γνωρίζω κάποιο καλύτερο προϊόν σε αυτή την κατηγορία.
UPDATE : μετά από 3 φορές χρήσης άρχισε να βγάζει προβλήματα...από ότι κατάλαβα είναι θέμα γείωσης ...μη το πάρετε δεν αξίζει...πήρα ένα άλλο με 16€ και είναι πεντακάθαρο.
I was torn between the Rhode lavalier go and the Boya M1 pro. As you already understood, I chose the Boya.
I ended up with this one because from various reviews I saw (where they provided audio samples), I concluded that on the one hand there is no difference in performance between the two (so the 30 euro price difference is not justified), on the other hand the Boya has a 6-meter cable, while the Rhode has only one meter. Also, the Rhode lavalier does not work with mobile phones and cameras, it requires an adapter.
So, the Boya is plug and play. Basically, you just need to remove a plastic piece that the battery has on top. This is only for the first time. It is a battery protector (you have surely encountered it in other devices) and then switch the button to the camera option (if you are working with a camera). Obviously, it is much better than the internal microphone of the camera that I use. Surely you will now tell me that comparing an internal microphone with an external lapel microphone that is 20 centimeters away from the mouth is unfair (I won't disagree). I just want to add that with this purchase, I had concerns about the Razer Seiren x (which I recently bought for voice overs), which cost around 100 euros (the Razer connects with USB for those who know). I believe that the result of the Boya is very close to that of the Razer, but at one-third of the price.
It is a must-have and at the same time an economical upgrade (compared to the competition) that is aimed at those who make videos with speech, either with mobile phones or with a camera. Especially for vlogging, YouTube, etc. The only issue (if I would even call it an issue) is that it is an individual tool, but this obviously applies to all lapel microphones.
Finally, I have no complaints about this product, it does what it promises and it does it better than I expected. I would say I am excited...

Ημουν μεταξύ του Rhode lavalier go και του Boya M1 pro. Οπως ήδη καταλάβατε διάλεξα τον μπόγια.
Κατέληξα σε αυτο καθώς απο διάφορα reviews που είδα ( όπου παραθέτανε ακουστικά δείγματα), κατέληξα πως αφενός δεν υπάρχει διαφορά στην απόδοση μεταξύ των δύο (οπότε δεν δικαιολογείται η διαφορά των 30 ευρώ), αφετέρου ο μπόγιας έχει 6 μέτρα καλώδιο,ενω το Rhode έχει ένα μέτρο. Επίσης το rhode lavalier δεν παίζει και με κινήτα και κάμερες, θέλει βυσματάκι.
Ο μπόγιας λοιπόν είναι plug and play. Βασικά πρέπει να αφαιρέσεις πρώτα ένα πλαστικό κομμάτακι που έχει πάνω η μπαταρία. Αυτό ισχύει για την πρώτη φορά και μόνο. Είναι προστατευτικό της μπαταρίας. (σίγουρα το έχετε συναντήσει και σε άλλες συσκευές) και να γυρίσεις τον διακόπτη στην επιλογή camera (αν δουλεύεις με camera). Προφανώς είναι πολυ καλύτερο απο το εσωτερικό μικρόφωνο της κάμερας που χρησιμοποιώ. Σίγουρα θα μου πείτε τώρα, είναι άδικη η σύγκριση ενος εσωτερικού μικροφώνου με ένα εξωτερικό πέτου που βρίσκεται 20 εκατοστά απο το στόμα (δεν θα διαφωνήσω). Απλα να προσθέσω πως με αυτή την αγορά προβληματιστηκά για το Razer Seiren x (που αγόρασα πρόσφατα με σκοπό τα voice overs), το οποίο κόστισε κοντά στα 100 ευρώ (το razer συνδεέται με usb για όσους γνωρίζουν). Πιστεύω πως το αποτέλεσμα του μπόγια είναι πολύ κοντά σε αυτό του razer, αλλα στο 1/3 της τιμής.
Είναι μια must και παράλληλα οικονομική αναβάθμιση (σε σχέση με τον ανταγωνισμό) που απευθύνεται σε όσους γράφουν βιντεάκια με ομιλιά είτε με κινητά, είτε με φωτογραφική μηχανή. Ειδικά σε vlogging, youtube κτλ. Το μόνο θέμα (αν θα το έλεγα θέμα κιόλας) είναι πως είναι ένα ατομικό εργαλείο, αλλα αυτό ισχύει για όλα τα μικρόφωνα πέτου προφανώς.
Τέλος δεν έχω κανένα παράπανο απο το συγκεκριμένο προιόν κάνει αυτό που υπόσχεται και το κάνει καλύτερα από όσο περίμενα. Θα έλεγα πως είμαι ενθουσιασμένος...
