Gas Filter SR 297 ABEK1 Sundstrom is designed to provide respiratory protection. A gas filter absorbs or adsorbs specific vapors and gases from a contaminated atmosphere. It is compatible with Sundstrom's Half Mask and Full-Face Mask: SR 90-3, SR 100, SR 200, SR 900.

• Type A: Protection against organic vapors with a boiling point above +65°C, inorganic and acidic gases.
• Type B: Protection against inorganic gases and vapors, such as chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, and hydrogen cyanide.
• Type E: Protection against acidic gases and vapors, such as sulfur dioxide and hydrofluoric acid.
• Type K: Protection against ammonia and certain amines, such as ethylenediamine.

For use as a combined filter in environments where gases and particles exist, a combination of gas filter and particle filter must be used at the same time. The particle filter always snaps onto the gas filter, but the gas filter does not snap onto the particle filter. The gas filter is always inserted into the respiratory device.

It is recommended to change the gas filter according to the results of measurements taken at the workplace. If this is not feasible, ensure the filter is changed weekly or sooner if you can smell or taste pollutants or experience any other discomfort. Any filter exposed to heavy pressure or impact or showing visible damage must be discarded immediately.
