Owner of the 9-42. Quality strings as Ernie Ball has accustomed us to in all types of strings. Soft with easy bends and nice sound. They don't break easily, not even with 3 semitone bends. I don't think more details are needed. I highly recommend them for players who do a lot of bends and don't want their strings to break or detune easily.
