Users find that the cleaner effectively removes limescale and is easy to use, with convenient pre-measured doses. It is often described as suitable for De’Longhi machines, and regular use helps with maintenance and coffee flavor. However, some note that the instructions are not clear enough and that extra rinse cycles are needed to remove the chemical taste.
Authentic cleaner for Delonghi espresso machine, used successfully in the Dedica EC685. The descaling indicator disappeared immediately after the program ended. An additional rinsing cycle was performed to ensure a completely clean taste.
Very good and effective if you don't have a way to measure (that's why I chose it). Otherwise, the 500ml package is more cost-effective.
It does its job just fine.
I remove one star because the box does not have instructions and I had to go to a website to find them. Also, I would suggest doing 2-3 EXTRA cleaning cycles in the machine after using it; with the 3 cycles we did, as the website said, the first coffee had a strange (chemical) taste. After that, everything was fine.
A great product, it does the job needed for the descaling of the machine and it has been a while since it showed me an indication for descaling, while I had bought a similar product from another company and it indicated that it needed it again in 20 days...
I have a Delonghi Delica machine which had shown an orange indicator on the steam button. After a video on YouTube encouraged me to get this product, I placed my order and the truth is that the product does its job.
